As Marketing Strategy Manager, you will serve as the commercial and strategic engine behind Fever's marketing strategy for the APAC market, including our marketing support for high-impact global IP partnerships such as F1 and Harry Potter. You will hold full budget ownership for chinese consumers marketing activity, blending advanced data analytics with deep fluency in China's distinct digital ecosystem — WeChat and Alipay Mini Programs, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Tencent Ads, Bilibili, and ByteDance's Ocean Engine — to drive audience growth and engagement in the region. By uniting cross-functional teams (Business Strategy, Growth, Creative, Product) with China-based agencies, KOL/MCN partners, and platform contacts, you will shape and evolve Fever's China marketing playbook.

What You´ll Do

  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy for our APAC experiences, driving demand, visibility, and long-term growth across a broad portfolio of high-impact experiences.
  • Develop compelling, scalable marketing strategies for exclusive experiences in APAC, including strategic partner events (F1, Harry Potter) and Fever Originals adapted for the local consumer.
  • Lead multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across APAC’s core paid and organic ecosystem — WeChat, ByteDance's Ocean Engine (Douyin/Toutiao), Xiaohongshu, and Baidu — ensuring consistent performance and strong ROI.
  • Work closely with Business Strategy, Growth Marketing, and Product teams to analyze performance and define marketing strategy for APAC, including surface strategy (WeChat/Alipay Mini Program).
  • Design and manage Fever's KOL/KOC and MCN strategy: identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with Multi-Channel Networks and creators across Xiaohongshu, Douyin, and WeChat to drive cost-efficient acquisition.
  • Own paid performance marketing setup and optimization across Tencent Ads and ByteDance Ocean Engine.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Creative, Design, Media, CRM, Content, and Product teams to ensure unified, high-impact marketing execution, including localization beyond translation (visual density, trust signals, review/rating mechanics).
  • Lead meetings with internal teams and strategic partners to ensure alignment, progress, and successful delivery of key projects.
  • Oversee and optimize marketing budgets and take full ownership of the region P&L.
  • Drive strategic planning and forecasting to support revenue growth and audience penetration.
  • Leverage advanced data insights to guide decision-making and refine marketing models.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of experience in digital and growth marketing, with proven hands-on expertise in the Chinese digital ecosystem — Tencent Ads, ByteDance Ocean Engine, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, Baidu — gained either in-market or managing China campaigns remotely.
  • Direct working knowledge of China's platform landscape: WeChat (Mini Programs, Official Accounts, WeChat Pay), Alipay, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, and how discovery-to-purchase journeys differ from Western funnels.
  • Experience running or commissioning KOL/KOC campaigns and negotiating with MCNs, including understanding of typical fee structures and tiering (head KOL / mid-tier / KOC).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute large-scale marketing strategies with measurable business impact.
  • Highly analytical mindset, with strong command of performance metrics, forecasting, and P&L-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with China-specific consumer growth mechanics (pintuan/group buying, social gifting, live-commerce) and judgment on which apply to a premium live-experience product.
  • Understanding of the regulatory and operational layer relevant to marketing execution in China.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings with partners and internal teams effectively.
  • Native/bilingual level of English; professional working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese strongly preferred (spoken and written), given direct coordination with China-based agencies, KOLs/MCNs, and platform partners.
  • Strong academic background in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in entertainment, experiential marketing, media, or consumer tech in the Chinese market is strongly preferred
  • Comfort operating as a remote-first APAC market lead, working asynchronously with APAC-based vendors/partners.

What We Do

Fever is the leading global tech-enabled entertainment discovery platform with a clear mission: to inspire through live entertainment. Our mobile-first marketplace allows both discovery/inspiration and seamless 2-click booking. Fever has also created a media network where our online communities can look for inspiration and local information (Secret Media Network owner of media outlets like Secret NYC, Secret London or Madrid Secreto among others). Fever and its Secret Media Network inspires over 60 million people every month to discover the best experiences in their cities. The preferences expressed by these communities allow us to create new experiences, which we call “Fever Originals”. These are proprietary experiences in which we follow a data-driven content creation strategy, using analytics to understand audiences, develop and optimize new formats. Some successful examples include the “Candlelight Concert Series” attended by over 3 million guests, the Los Angeles based “Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience” co-produced with Netflix, or the “Mad Hatter G&T Party”, all launched in multiple cities across the world. Fever is a US company with a team of over 800 people, currently present in more than 80 cities, with offices in many exciting cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, or Sydney, and is backed by leading institutional investors, including Rakuten Capital, Accel, and Atresmedia among others. In order to pursue this objective we are looking for bar-raisers, people that want to work hard, have fun, and make history with us. Available for iOS and Android.
