The Ideal Candidate:

 As a result of our robust growth, we are looking for a Marketing Specialist with a passion for marketing to join our marketing team in our Saint John, NB office.

Success in this role will require energy, enthusiasm, a positive and entrepreneurial attitude as well as advanced skills in communication, time management and collaboration at all levels of the organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of global brand initiatives, ensuring consistent application of brand identity, voice, and messaging across all materials and channels 
  • Develop and deliver marketing and brand assets including presentations, templates, digital content, and communications aligned to brand standards 
  • Contribute to brand rollout initiatives, including updating existing materials and deploying new branded templates and tools across teams 
  • Manage and maintain brand asset libraries and tools, ensuring accessibility, organization, and proper usage 
  • Review and adapt materials to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and governance standards 
  • Execute content development across digital channels, including but not limited to: social media content planning, creation, posting, and community management 
  • Coordination and execution of digital campaigns and advertising content 
  • Website content updates and ongoing maintenance 
  •  Provide marketing support for events and tradeshows, including development of branded assets, coordination, and on-site support as required 
  • Contribute to team priorities and initiatives, providing hands-on support and driving high-quality output across multiple workstreams.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary certificate or degree in marketing, communications, commerce, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in brand, digital marketing, content development or social media management.
  • Understanding of brand governance, content development and digital marketing principles.
  • Event planning, food industry and project management experience are considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with digital and marketing tools, including:
    • Social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and community management 
    • Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform insights) 
    • Content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar) 
    • Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Experience supporting digital campaigns, content calendars, and performance tracking
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content optimization considered an asset
  • Team player, energetic, resourceful, reliable, and timely.
  • Excellent written communication and proof-reading skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter.
