Job Description:
Reporting to the VET Marketing Lead, the Marketing Specialist in Royal Canin Korea is responsible to drive Vet marketing strategies that accelerate business growth and strengthen VET advocacy. The role translates deep expertise in pet nutrition (esp. V-diet) and clinical pathways into impactful marketing plan, while ensuring seamless execution through close collaboration with key stakeholders.
Strategic Brand Leadership
Own and drive end to end brand strategy, from insight generation to execution, with clear business impact.
Translate market, customer, and clinical insights into differentiated brand positioning and growth opportunities.
Define and continuously refine target markets, value proposition and messaging tailored to veterinary professional and pet owners.
Challenge the status quo and proactively identify new growth levers in a rapidly evolving pet healthcare landscape
Advanced Product & Clinical Expertise
Build strong expertise in veterinary science, pet pathology, and nutrition to inform credible and impactful marketing strategies.
Design & execute portfolio strategies((from New product launch to distribution) aligned with the pet healthcare pathway, driving mutuality and life time value.
High-Impact Marketing Execution
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns with clear objectives, KPIs, and measurable outcomes.
Develop compelling, insight-based content and materials that resonate with both veterinarians and pet owners.
Ensure all communications are scientifically sound, customer-centric, and commercially effective.
Digital & E-Recommendation Innovation
Support localization and deployment of global digital initiatives (e.g., IVO, Vet Services, PMS integration) to fit local market dynamics.
Identify unmet customer needs and proactively develop scalable digital solutions (e.g., KakaoTalk, SMS-based engagement).
Drive adoption and performance of digital tools to enhance customer experience and business results.
Sales Enablement & Capability Building
Equip the sales team with strategic narratives, scientific knowledge, and effective tools.
Design and deliver impactful training that elevates consultative selling capabilities.
Continuously improve sales effectiveness through feedback loops and field insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with STS, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure aligned and executable strategies.
Work closely with other Marketing teams, regulatory affairs, supply chain, and finance teams.Ensure key stakeholder alignment for marketing strategies and product development initiatives.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all marketing activities comply with veterinary industry regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with regulatory affairs to manage product labeling, advertising, and promotion.

1. Education & Professional Qualification
University graduate or above
Fluent on written & speaking English
Entrepreneurship and business sense on top of marketing expertise
Learning agility, proactive, self-motivated, analytical, organized, detail-oriented
Effective written or verbal communication at all levels both internally and externally
Excellent inter-personal skills both in local and international environment
2. Knowledge/Experience
8-10 years of brand marketing experience preferably in Pharma and/ or FMCG, Aesthetics market
Deep understanding & knowledge of marketing practices and principles
Expert marketing / Pet industry experience preferable
