Marketing Specialist (MY)

The Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our technology client’s marketing initiatives. This role is strategically focused on achieving and exceeding ambitious ad revenue targets by proactively securing significant brand and activation budgets from non-endemic and FMCG advertisers.
This role will lead marketing strategies through their full lifecycle—from conception and development to meticulous execution—working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. It demands a commitment to driving marketing campaign excellence, ensuring our initiatives are impactful and innovative, and delivering measurable results.
Role:
- Develop and roll out full-funnel marketing strategies, from big-picture 360° XL campaigns (one per quarter - spanning digital, traditional, and experiential channels) to nimble owned media activations (four per quarter across in-app, EDM, and social).
- Lead the creation of three compelling pitch decks each quarter, teaming up with insight, strategy, and design to tell stories that sell.
- Monitor, analyse, and optimise campaign performance then turn results into smart, actionable learnings.
- Facilitate collaborative workshops with both internal teams and external partners to keep ideas fresh and impactful.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, keeping everyone aligned and informed.
- Regularly report progress to senior leadership and help shape the path forward.
You:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of marketing experience.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
- Strong track record of achieving marketing goals and revenue targets.
- Good experience in campaign management: manage, plan, organise and execute a wide range of successful campaigns from inception to completion, within budget.
- Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently in a timely and accurate manner, on budget.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with agencies, colleagues and suppliers.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
