Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist will support the Brand, Product, & Retail Marketing Team with the planning, development, and execution of ongoing B2C marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and consideration, as well as generate demand for Optimum products. Aids Marketing Director and Manager in day-to-day coordination and execution of brand marketing campaigns and events. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate creative development and execution of multi-platform marketing campaigns that run across a variety of channels including TV, web, digital, email, print, and social.
  • Serves as primary contact for campaigns which includes briefing, supplying creative assets, and reviewing and providing feedback on multiple executions and units.
  • Coordinate planning customer-facing events, including managing the briefing, development, and trafficking of all marketing materials to promote events across a variety of media placements.
  • Monitor performance and create presentation materials, including campaign and post-event recaps, with results and future recommendations.
  • Support marketing efforts for Optimum retail stores including the coordination and creative development of collateral, signage, etc. to ensure the retail branding experience meets brand guidelines.
  • Works with outside partners, including TV networks, to align on quarterly marketing objectives and develop and execute campaigns marketed to our subscribers.
  • Works on a day-to-day basis with various internal teams (Creative Services, Product, Retail, Media, PR, etc.) and external agencies to ensure initiatives are on strategy and implemented flawlessly.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • 1 - 3 years' experience in marketing and/or agency account management (telecommunications experience is a plus)
  • Comfortable with and capable of juggling multiple assignments and able to excel in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external creative teams, agencies and vendors.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with proven ability to give extensive creative and copywriting direction.
  • Detailed-oriented and organized with keen attention to detail to proofread and ensure tactics are executed and trafficked flawlessly.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative spirit.
  • A positive attitude with an eagerness to learn, grow and enthusiastically develop new skills.
  • A bility to visit retail locations and attend events as needed.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $64,260.00 - $105,570.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
