Overview:
Individual contributor within a Marketing department or area. Developing experience pertaining to area of responsibility. Responsible for implementation and execution of marketing support materials and programs. Able to operate with minimal supervision and largely independent.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understands needs mission, vision and strategic direction of the enterprise
- Develops strong relationships across the department.
- Acts as a practitioner within area.
- Keeps apprised of relevant best practices under supervision.
- Demonstrates understanding of role and assignments.
- Communicates clearly with team members.
- Understands and follows relevant procedures and practices and participates in routines within area.
- May participate in external events for research and networking activities that benefit the company.
- Able to complete most assignments with little/no assistance from others. Demonstrates ability to collaborate well with others.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of marketing experience
- (Or in Lieu of a degree, a combination of 6 years of higher education and relevant experience) Experience executing on projects and initiatives
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task workflow
- Experience resolving modestly complex problems
- Has demonstrated working relationships with internal and external partners
