Ameresco is currently looking for a talented marketing professional to join our Corporate Marketing team. As an integral member of our team, this role is responsible for planning, promotion and execution of all Ameresco corporate events and webinars, as part of our integrated marketing programs and in support of strategic initiatives. This role also maintains Ameresco’s partner relationships with industry memberships and analyst firms. The ideal candidate will be nimble and resourceful, with excellent time and project management skills within our fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, promote and execute Ameresco events and webinars to drive successful participation in targeted industry events for thought leadership, brand awareness, and lead generation – including budgeting, onsite logistics, staffing, booth shipping, setup, driving engagement, lead capture and processing, messaging and positioning, etc.;

  • Research and recommend potential event opportunities with the intent to build a robust and strategic events calendar designed to drive lead generation and further strategic company goals;

  • Define benefits and goals of each event; Coordinate with internal Ameresco event stakeholders to manage event plan before, during, and after all events; Evaluate event success -- including lead generation, costs managed to meet budget expectations, engagement, and areas for future improvement;

  • Develop content packages and presentation decks to bolster Ameresco positioning and manage event-related content (booth materials, on-demand webinars, pre- and post-show emails, etc.) at each event, aligned with messaging that will support event goals;

  • Process event leads into companywide CRM (Salesforce) and/or Marketing Automation System (Hubspot); Identify and execute on nurture opportunities to qualify leads for sales pipeline; Analyze and report on event-specific lead generation against identified goals;

  • Collaborate with companywide regional stakeholders to optimize local event participation and effectiveness; Maintain companywide event calendar and ensure promotion through Ameresco communication channels;

  • Maintain corporate memberships with various industry organizations; Identify companywide opportunities for partnerships to make the most of the membership investment in support of strategic marketing goals; Inform and engage internal stakeholders; Analyze continued investment;

  • Maintain directory of market research and analyst reports; Notify internal stakeholders when new research and reports are available, including thoughtful summaries of market trends and insights; Engage with analyst firms in collaboration with other internal stakeholders;

  • Act as point person and manage relationships with key industry event organizers and industry organizations, and secure valuable sponsorships, speaking slots, and other event- and membership-driven marketing opportunities;

  • Collaborate with team members to produce relevant brand-standard collateral that meet the needs of key stakeholders, the audience and multiple vehicles to help drive Ameresco business; Effectively coordinate sales and marketing initiatives and support promotional activities;

  • Manage relationship and available offering of company branded apparel through Inkwell Global Marketing;

  • Collaborate with regional sales leads to plan and execute outbound demand generation campaigns utilizing companywide CRM (Salesforce) and sales platform (Outreach.io);

  • Deliver assigned marketing deliverables in accordance with established quality and KPI goals;

  • Support corporate, functional, regional, business units and sales requests for marketing assistance and the related deliverables;

  • Represent Ameresco in a professional and ethical manner; and

  • Perform other duties as required

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, English or journalism

  • Minimum of 2 (two) years’ experience in marketing with exposure to corporate event planning and execution. Skilled in creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Business-to-business and Energy industry experience a plus.

  • Expert with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and PowerPoint). Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) and comparable graphic packages; Salesforce CRM; Hubspot marketing automation and email marketing software/ campaign tools; Outreach.io sales execution platform. Able to use templates and produce high quality marketing content, campaigns, as needed. Channel-specific knowledge (i.e.: Events, memberships, webinars, content creation), a plus. Excellent verbal, written, digital and interpersonal communication and presentation skills with an innate attention to detail.

  • An eye for on-brand design and/or brand design experience preferred.

  • Track record of strong project management skills and practice.

  • Ability to work independently and cross functionally through team collaboration

  • Proven and motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments
