Overview

The Marketing Specialist is an integral member of the Marketing and Communications team with the ability to think big picture while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. This role will assist in overseeing and implementing the overall marketing strategy. The Marketing Specialist will specialize in planning, managing, and executing marketing projects to support the bank’s growth initiatives.  The role will support in-branch marketing requests as well as bank segment campaigns.  The role will also be responsible for collaborating with sales, operations, and other internal departments along with external agencies and business partners.

What You’ll Do
  • Support the implementation of strategic marketing plans and monitor progress to ensure strategies are successfully rolled out
  • Manage campaign development and execution from start to finish, to include intake, project management, scheduling, system set-up and reporting
  • Communicate and execute on all marketing plans for assigned projects
  • Develop schedules, outline tasks and projects, maintain deadlines, and proactively communicate with key stakeholders on next steps
  • Ensure marketing projects align with budgets and timelines
  • Lead and participate in meetings with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to keep projects on track and provide updates
  • Collaborate with creative team and other subject matter experts within the bank to generate and proof content for use across multiple channels 
  • Assist with managing marketing vendor relationships to include, but not limited to, ad agencies, design firms, web developers, print vendors, etc. to ensure that service levels are maintained and that the quality of work is high 
  • Manage and maintain branded material requests and inventory in Supply Room and DAM
  • Assist with sales and marketing duties as needed
  • Ensure all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training

Requirements For Success
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications studies or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporation or an agency, supporting marketing/ project management strategy or as an account executive
  • Experience and knowledge in communications, project management and agency management
  • Ability to work effectively at a quick pace while exhibiting exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, have strong communication skills and business knowledge
  • Experience running cross-functional projects with large teams
  • Collaborative team player with positive attitude and sound judgment
  • Values strong working relationships
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Some travel required
  • Participate in all required regulatory and compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.   
Conditions of Employment

This is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.  This position requires up to 25% travel.

Pay RangeUSD $70,000.00 - USD $78,000.00 /Yr.

Skills Required
