Company Overview:
Allen Control Systems (ACS) is a cutting-edge defense startup founded by two former Navy electrical engineers with a proven track record in robotics and software. We are developing an autonomous gun turret using advanced computer vision and control systems to precisely detect, track, and neutralize enemy drones.
With an engineering-first culture, ACS values technical excellence and innovation. Backed by our founders' successful exits from two previous ventures acquired for a combined $180M in 2022, and recently strengthened by a Series B to scale manufacturing and accelerate deployment of Bullfrog™, we are committed to ensuring that the groundbreaking technologies we develop will have a real-world impact.
About The Role:
We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to own the day-to-day execution of ACS's field and in-office marketing operations. Prepare, package, and ship marketing materials and promotional items for events, customer visits, and internal team requests; maintain and organize promotional inventory and print collateral, tracking stock levels and coordinating reorders.
Coordinate with vendors and print partners to produce collateral, signage, and promotional materials on schedule and within budget; ensure all materials reflect current branding and messaging standards.
Support execution of marketing campaigns, content production, and promotional initiatives under the direction of marketing leadership; help maintain marketing asset libraries, templates, and brand-compliant materials.
Assemble and prepare new hire welcome kits, coordinating with People Operations to ensure timely delivery for onboarding.
Support cross-functional projects and day-to-day operational needs, including office and facility support such as signage, displays, and meeting/demo space setup.
What You'll Need:
1-3 years of experience in marketing, events, operations, administrative support, or a related field.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Dependable and professional with strong interpersonal skills in customer-facing environments; comfortable staffing events and representing ACS to customers, government stakeholders, and industry partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with standard office and productivity software such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Able to lift and transport event materials and assist with setup/teardown; able to travel domestically to support events and range demonstrations, and to work evenings and weekends as needed.

What We Do
Allen Control Systems is a defense technology company for a new era of drone warfare and to completely change battlefield economics. ACS is developing counter-drone robotic gun systems targeted at neutralizing attacking drone swarms, drones that are pre-programmed with AI, and drones that are non-jammable. ACS was created to lower the cost per kill of a drone to a few dollars. We do this by combining cutting-edge hardware and software that allows us to point an inexpensive gun that already exists in the field more accurately than anyone ever has before. ACS is a remote organization, with our HQ in Austin, Texas, and an office in Alexandria, Va. If you're passionate about our mission, we’d love to hear from you.
