Job purpose: Support the planning, execution, and optimization of all marketing activities across the assigned brands, ensuring effective campaign execution, brand consistency, lead generation, customer engagement, and alignment with business objectives. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating marketing campaigns, events, PR, agencies, OEM communications, budgeting, procurement, showroom branding, market intelligence, and reporting while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Job responsibilities:
Marketing Campaigns
Plan, coordinate, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, CRM, retail, PR, events, and traditional media.
Develop campaign briefs and coordinate campaign execution with agencies and internal stakeholders.
Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimization initiatives.
Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and according to brand guidelines.
Coordinate tactical campaigns, seasonal offers, product launches, and promotional activities.
Support lead generation initiatives and campaign performance improvements.
Product Marketing & Market Intelligence
Monitor competitors' products, pricing, financing offers, campaigns, and market positioning.
Prepare product comparison reports and competitor benchmarking presentations.
Conduct market research and identify trends, customer insights, and business opportunities.
Support pricing recommendations and promotional strategies.
Develop product positioning and key customer messaging.
Maintain updated product specifications and sales support materials.
Events & Customer Experience
Plan and execute product launches, media events, exhibitions, sponsorships, mall activations, roadshows, customer events, and test drive activities.
Coordinate event logistics with agencies, suppliers, venues, and internal departments.
Evaluate event performance and prepare post-event reports.
Identify partnership opportunities that enhance brand visibility.
Public Relations
Coordinate PR activities with agencies and media partners.
Prepare and review press releases, media kits, and communication materials.
Support media events, interviews, press conferences, and influencer collaborations.
Monitor media coverage and prepare PR reports.
Manage press vehicle requests and TD.
Showroom Branding & Retail Marketing
Develop and maintain showroom branding, POS materials, brochures, signage, displays, and merchandising.
Ensure retail marketing standards are implemented across all showrooms.
Coordinate production and installation of marketing materials.
Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
Agency & Supplier Management
Manage day-to-day communication with creative, media, PR, digital, production, and event agencies.
Prepare agency briefs and review creative deliverables.
Monitor agency performance, timelines, and service quality.
Coordinate production schedules and supplier deliveries.
OEM Coordination
Act as the marketing contact with the OEM.
Coordinate approvals for campaigns, creative assets, events, and marketing materials.
Ensure compliance with OEM brand guidelines.
Prepare and submit required reports to the OEM.
Coordinate marketing support programs and co-op initiatives where applicable.
Budget & Procurement
Monitor marketing expenditure and budget utilization.
Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and follow procurement processes.
Track supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
Maintain accurate records of marketing expenses.
Ensure all activities remain within approved budgets.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports.
Monitor KPIs and campaign effectiveness.
Prepare management presentations and business updates.
Maintain marketing calendars and project timelines.
Keep marketing asset libraries and documentation updated.
Support internal communications and cross-functional initiatives.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with Sales, Product, CRM, Digital, PR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, Customer Experience, and Dealer Network teams.
Coordinate with OEM marketing teams on campaigns, approvals, launches, and reporting.
Liaise with agencies, media partners, suppliers, malls, event organizers, and production houses.
Support sales teams with marketing materials and product information.
Assist other brands and departments on marketing initiatives when required.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
Work Experience
3–5 years of experience in Marketing, preferably within the automotive, retail, or consumer goods industries.
Proven experience in marketing campaign management, events, public relations, agency management, retail marketing, budgeting, procurement, and product marketing.
Experience working with OEMs and managing brand compliance is preferred.
Experience with CRM, digital marketing platforms, and marketing analytics is an advantage.
