Marketing Specialist, RCS
Location: Middleburg Heights, OH
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week following initial 3 month 100% onsite period)
Purpose
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist for our Laboratory Billing & Revenue Cycle Services division serves as the primary marketing contact for the division. This individual partners closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and subject matter experts to coordinate and execute marketing initiatives that support awareness, customer engagement, lead generation, and business growth.
This role is ideal for a results-oriented marketer who enjoys coordinating integrated marketing campaigns, developing customer-focused content, partnering with cross-functional teams, and driving initiatives that support lead generation, product awareness, and customer engagement. The Marketing Specialist partners with the Director of Marketing and marketing team members to execute integrated marketing initiatives, coordinate campaigns, develop content, and manage projects that support business growth and customer engagement.
Salary: $50k-$60k
Responsibilities:
Marketing Coordination
- Serve as the primary marketing contact for the Laboratory Billing & Revenue Cycle Services division.
- Coordinate execution of the annual marketing calendar and campaign plans in partnership with the Director of Marketing.
- Meet regularly with Sales, Product Management, and Customer Success to understand business priorities and identify marketing opportunities.
- Assist in developing and executing marketing initiatives that support business growth and customer engagement.
- Coordinate marketing projects across internal teams including digital marketing, marketing operations, communications, creative services, and events.
Content Marketing
- Create and coordinate content including blogs, customer success stories, case studies, newsletters, webinars, podcasts, and social media.
- Coordinate subject matter experts, customer speakers, and external partners for educational content and events.
- Manage content development and proofreading for the quarterly Laboratory Billing client newsletter.
- Research industry trends and identify opportunities for marketing content and thought leadership.
Sales Support
- Partner with Sales to develop marketing materials that support lead generation and customer engagement.
- Attend recurring meetings to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity.
- Coordinate development of presentations, collateral, customer stories, campaign assets, and other sales support materials.
- Assist with proposal development and strategic marketing initiatives as needed.
- Work with Marketing Operations to support campaign execution and lead generation efforts.
Events & Customer Engagement
- Coordinate marketing activities for conferences, webinars, customer events, and industry programs.
- Assist with planning, content development, logistics, and promotional efforts for events.
- Help identify speaking opportunities, sponsorships, and partnership opportunities that increase market awareness.
- Support follow-up marketing activities to maximize engagement after events.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required.
- 3–5 years of marketing experience required, preferably in B2B, healthcare, technology, SaaS or related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling messaging.
- Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM and marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms preferred.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience with graphic design and visual content creation is a plus.
Physical Demands: General office demands include sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.
