Job Overview

The Marketing Solutions Manager is responsible for managing marketing projects and initiatives that support new business pursuits, organic growth opportunities, client communications, and operational marketing needs. This role supports the coordination, development, and execution of proposals, presentations, account communications, and related marketing deliverables while ensuring quality, consistency, and timely completion.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and adhere to processes and best practices related to growth initiatives, client reporting (QBRs, monthly reports), and account storytelling, among other areas.

  • Provide strategic support and guidance across SBM’s solutions pursuits and operations project needs.

  • Coordinate resources to fulfill requirements of solutions proposals and presentations.

  • Maintain project management pipeline to fulfill department deliverables.

  • Work within the department across account comms, design, and digital to identify opportunities to develop and update solutions collateral and communications for general positioning and targeted vertical support.

  • Work with various corporate departments to best prepare field and sales teams for customer reporting requirements and presentations to growth prospects.

  • Field incoming operations support needs, assign tasks and deliverables, and verify completion.

  • Ensure presentation reviews and dry runs are performed to verify presenter is equipped with the necessary material.

  • Work with appropriate channels to support communication of SBM’s transition progress and successes, culminating in client facing transition reviews and case studies.

  • Identify opportunities to build on team progress and successes by adding supporting roles that elevate product output efficiency or quality.

  • Report project completion and up and out to department leadership and executive leadership team.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

3+ years progressive experience in proposal management, marketing communications, business development support, project management, client services, or related fields.

Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of proposal development, marketing communications, project management, and client-facing presentations.

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizational levels.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Ability to analyze requirements, coordinate resources, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Understanding of business operations, client reporting, and growth support processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
