The role is responsible for managing the development and execution of marketing assets and programs to support Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans (BCBS) in positioning and selling various national programs and initiatives. The role leads or supports planning, developing and implementing marketing and communications that differentiate BCBS among key stakeholders, including business decision-makers, key influencers, consumers/members and thought leaders. Understanding complex business needs and aligning marketing strategies to overall project goals is critical for success.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support copywriting and creative direction for various marketing deliverables (e.g., presentations, collateral, digital content)
- Key contributor to the development of marketing strategies; implements marketing strategies, plans and tactics for a variety of BCBSA national programs
- Support the facilitation of the B2B Marketing Collaborative
- Respond to a variety of ad hoc internal and Plan requests in a timely and professional manner, including taking a leadership role in tracking work and results for reporting
- Ensure content is fresh on our Sales Support Toolkit, e.g., either soliciting new content and/ or developing it, posting content and tracking quantifiable results
- Participate in brainstorming for larger scale, team-based projects
