About Us

CipherHealth is an award winning software company committed to enhancing care coordination and outcomes across the continuum. Since 2009, CipherHealth’s automated, scalable platform has empowered healthcare organizations to engage patients and care teams at every touchpoint, streamlining workflows and improving experiences. With tailored communication solutions powered by AI and deep integrations, CipherHealth drives better clinical results, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability, transforming healthcare one interaction at a time.

About the Role

We're looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to own the systems, processes, and data that power how marketing creates pipeline and proves impact. This is an individual contributor role: you will personally design and run the operating backbone across our marketing tech stack—CRM, marketing automation, attribution, content and campaign workflows—while partnering closely with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Customer Success to turn strategy into reliable, measurable execution.

What makes this role different is how we do marketing operations. You will build, operate, and continuously improve an agent-augmented MarOps layer where AI agents handle much of the analytical, routing, and synthesis heavy-lifting—freeing you and your partners to focus on judgment, creative quality, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate pairs deep, traditional marketing operations craft with an agentic mindset: someone who thinks about MarOps as a system of humans and agents working in a loop, and who is as comfortable debugging a Salesforce–Marketo sync as designing an agent workflow that turns campaign noise into prioritized action.

Core Marketing Operations Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing tech stack. Administer, integrate, and continuously improve CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and related tools so the stack is reliable, scalable, and trusted.
  • Design and run operational workflows. Build lead capture, routing, scoring, enrichment, nurturing, and handoff processes that move prospects cleanly from awareness to Sales-ready opportunity.
  • Ensure data quality and governance. Define standards for fields, taxonomies, lifecycle stages, and permissions; keep data clean, consistent, and usable across Marketing and Sales.
  • Enable campaign execution. Partner with Demand Gen and Product Marketing on campaign setup, tracking, QA, and launch readiness so every program is instrumented and measurable.
  • Drive attribution and reporting. Own dashboards, funnel reporting, and performance narratives that connect marketing activity to pipeline, revenue, and efficiency.
  • Partner on go-to-market readiness. Align MarOps processes with GTM motions—launches, ABM plays, events, and nurture tracks—so operations accelerate, not bottleneck, the plan.
  • Measure and iterate. Define operational KPIs and OKRs; use quantitative and qualitative signals to improve conversion, speed-to-lead, and marketing efficiency.
  • Scale the operating model. Document processes, train stakeholders, and continuously raise the bar on how Marketing and Sales work together through shared systems—without building a team under you.

What You'll Own

  1. Build and Operate the Agentic MarOps Loop

You will personally stand up and continuously improve a fleet of marketing-operations agents that augment GTM marketing work. These agents should be able to:

  • Monitor lead flow and flag routing failures, SLA breaches, and scoring anomalies in near real time
  • Detect and remediate data quality issues—duplicates, missing firmographics, bad lifecycle states, and enrichment gaps
  • Summarize campaign performance into digestible themes: what worked, what stalled, and where budget should shift
  • Cluster inbound and content engagement signals to surface demand patterns and segment opportunities
  • Watch competitor and category moves across channels and flag meaningful messaging or offer shifts
  • Generate weekly pipeline and funnel health reports that synthesize activity, conversion, and attribution into prioritized recommendations
  • Draft first-pass campaign briefs, UTM plans, and launch checklists so humans start from a strong draft rather than a blank page
  • Surface nurture fatigue, list hygiene risks, and deliverability signals before they become pipeline problems
  • Turn unstructured feedback from Sales, CS, and market conversations into structured insights for messaging and targeting

You own the quality, reliability, and evolution of this "Marketing Analyst & Ops" agent layer. You treat it as a product in its own right—defining requirements, measuring accuracy and adoption, and iterating on the leverage it creates. The agentic loop doesn't replace marketing operations craft; it accelerates insight, sharpens prioritization, and gives you more time for strategy, systems design, and stakeholder partnership.

  1. Run the Marketing Operations System

Marketing execution at our company depends on a crisp operating model, and you are the steward of that system—as the owner and operator, not as a people manager.

  • Own the recurring operating cadence for campaign readiness, lead operations, and performance review across Marketing and Sales.
  • Ensure every major program has clear tracking, ownership, and handoff rules grounded in data standards and the outputs of the agentic MarOps loop.
  • Keep cross-functional decisions evidence-based and priorities laddered up to company GTM strategy.
  1. Own the MarOps–RevOps Interface

You are the primary connector between Marketing Operations and Revenue Operations / Sales Operations.

  • Align definitions for MQL, SQL, stages, attribution, and shared dashboards so Marketing and Sales trust the same numbers.
  • Drive continuous improvement on speed-to-lead, acceptance rates, and feedback loops between Marketing and Sales.
  • Make the hard trade-offs about where operational investment creates maximum return—automation, data, tooling, or process.

How You Work

This is a high-leverage individual contributor role. You do the work yourself and multiply impact through systems, agents, and clear operating rhythms—not through direct reports.

  • You own outcomes end to end — the MarOps stack, operating cadence, data integrity, and reporting backbone.
  • You build and run the agentic MarOps loop across programs and channels, owning the agents, their outputs, and how they plug into campaign and pipeline reviews.
  • You enable partners through craft and process — briefing cleanly, instrumenting campaigns, working alongside agents, and helping Marketing and Sales act on operational signal rather than gut feel.
  • You have no people-management responsibility — influence comes from expertise, systems design, and trusted delivery.

What Success Looks Like

  • A trusted marketing tech stack and data model that Marketing and Sales rely on without second-guessing.
  • Campaigns and programs that launch on time, are fully instrumented, and produce clear pipeline signal.
  • Faster, cleaner lead flow—with measurable improvement in speed-to-lead, conversion, and Sales acceptance.
  • The agentic MarOps loop reliably shortens the path from signal to decision and action.
  • Reporting that executives and GTM leaders trust: attribution, funnel health, and efficiency are explained, not debated.
  • A scalable operating model that raises the quality of marketing execution as the company grows—without requiring a larger MarOps headcount to keep pace.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven MarOps expertise. 5+ years in marketing operations, revenue operations, or closely related GTM systems roles; a track record of running reliable, scalable marketing infrastructure as a hands-on operator.
  • MarOps craft. Deep fluency in CRM and marketing automation (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo/HubSpot or equivalent), lead lifecycle design, attribution, reporting, and campaign operations.
  • Systems thinking. You design processes and integrations that hold up under growth, complexity, and cross-functional pressure.
  • Agentic mindset. You believe AI agents change how marketing operations gets done, and you have hands-on instincts for designing agent workflows—defining requirements, evaluating outputs, and iterating on quality.
  • Cross-functional influence. You bring Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, and RevOps together and hold the operating bar high—without formal authority over them.
  • Data obsession. You ground decisions in funnel metrics and operational signal, not opinion.
  • Builder and multiplier. You improve the systems and the partners around you—documenting, training, and raising the standard of how work gets done. You thrive as a senior IC, not by managing a team.

How We Invest In You

  • Healthcare that begins on your first day:
    • Generous company-funding of our health, vision, and dental plans
    • HSA/FSA plans
    • Short and Long-Term Disability
    • Life and Personal Accident Insurance
    • $40 monthly wellness stipend you can use towards any wellness, fitness, and wellbeing purchases
    • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
    • Adoption Assistance
  • Retirement: 401(k) at three months of employment — with a match upon enrollment!
  • Time away:
    • Discretionary PTO + 13 paid holidays
    • Parenthood: Competitive paid parental leave and flexible return to work policy
  • Recognition:
    • Generous Employee Referral Program - earn cash for each employee referral that is hired
    • Yearly Cipher-versary stipend
    • Ci-Phives - receive public kudos and gift cards from peers and managers
  • Culture:
    • CARE2 Values
    • Monthly All Teams Meetings
    • Employee Resource Groups such as Rainbow Room and BIPOC Group
    • Internal Webinars and robust onboarding / training programs
    • Remote-first team: $50 per month reimbursement in your check for WFH expenses
    • You’ll receive a new Macbook laptop, other hardware, and company swag upon hire

Skills Required

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or closely related go-to-market systems roles
  • Hands-on experience running reliable and scalable marketing infrastructure
  • Deep fluency in CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, or HubSpot
  • Experience with lead lifecycle design, attribution, reporting, and campaign operations
  • Ability to design scalable processes and integrations
  • Hands-on experience designing agent workflows, defining requirements, evaluating outputs, and improving quality
  • Ability to influence Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations without formal authority
  • Strong data-driven decision-making and familiarity with funnel metrics and operational signals
  • Ability to document processes, train stakeholders, and improve operating standards
  • Ability to work effectively as a senior individual contributor without direct reports
