The Marketing Manager position is responsible for an assigned portfolio of university partner accounts. This role serves as the primary liaison between university partner marketing departments and internal marketing teams, functioning as a product marketing and brand steward while also providing project management oversight. Marketing Managers work closely with internal and external marketing and operations teams at all levels. This role functions as a direct supervisor for one or more Marketing Project Specialists. This position is remote supporting clients in multiple time zones, with Eastern Time being the primary working hours.
Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:
Build strong relationships with assigned external partners, internal functional groups, and other key stakeholders
Share and communicate marketing plans for partner accounts
Conduct regular marketing reviews and presentations with internal and external constituents
Manage and maintain all marketing and advertising assets for assigned university partners
Manage a Marketing Project Specialist to ensure all projects are submitted accurately in project management platform
Create and maintain foundational messaging documents including basic competitive research, value propositions, editorial guides and creative briefs for all assigned accounts

This position may manage the following positions: Marketing Coordinators or Specialists and/or Marketing Project Managers.
Experience/ Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field. MBA a plus but not required
3-5 years of experience in a marketing or related field. Specific background must include marketing experience within multiple channels, such as digital marketing, social media, print, paid search, television and radio.
Demonstration of managing client expectations and working with external stakeholders
Ability to plan a campaign within budget, from conceptualization to implementation and success measurement
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to senior management.
High attention to detail and proven record of independently managing a high volume of tasks and timelines
