Job Purpose


Strategize and execute brand plans to deliver aligned brand objectives.
Understanding consumer insights and bringing corresponding science to life.
Delivering high impact brand connections via activations
Displaying high business acumen in understanding the right growth levers and investing accordingly
Manage agency and cross-functional relationships to deliver brand campaigns, go-to-market strategy, and product delivery.
Deliver topline and brand P&L management.
Budget Management, Performance tracking and optimizing to maximize ROI.
Leading a team to deliver best in class plans.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the Sensodyne Strategy (Base brand, Innovations, Access and brushes)

  • Responsible for delivering topline, P&L and full year brand plans for Sensodyne India – Base Toothpaste, Innovations, Brushes and Access packs.

  • Strategize and execute to deliver aligned brand objectives – to accelerate Sensodyne penetration gains.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and activations to drive brand growth andmarket share gains.

  • Create and execute innovative, consumer-centric marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital,traditional, in-store, Dcomm etc)

  • Lead the product positioning, ensuring alignment with consumer needs, market trends, and company objectives.

  • Performance management & Budgeting- Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with budget and objectives. Track campaign performance, analyze results, and adjust strategies for optimal ROI. Manage marketing budgets efficiently, ensuring proper allocation of resources for maximum impact.

  • Cross functional collaboration and Agency Management - Collaborate with cross functional teams to align marketing initiatives, go to market and product launch plans. Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to execute marketing campaigns. Provide guidance and support to internal teams in implementing marketing initiatives.

  • Team Leadership – Lead a team of two managers – to drive the Sensodyne Access and Sensodyne Brush

  • Portfolio. Build the communication, media, activation and GTM strategy for Sensodyne Brush and Access pack (Targeting smaller towns/rural audience).

  • Collaborate with sales team to deliver BIC shopper and trade on ground activations. 

  • Identify and activate WIMI plots to unlock market specific acceleration opportunities via customized media + comms + pack strategy.

  • Mentor, guide and develop the team to build a high performance, collaborative and result oriented environment.


Qualifications and skills

  • MBA from Premium Business School
  • This role requires ability to launch innovations, develop brand strategy, align senior stakeholders and focus on strong execution.
  • Previous Experience Required: 9-12 years
  • Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience Required
  • (7-8 years of Marketing experience)


Why is this level of experience required?

  • The role involves working with the category teams, agency parners, sales team to deliver on Brand strategy /plans. Hence demonstrated ability to create and implement consistent brand plans across regions / channels and through all consumers touch points is a must.
