Your tasks
- The Marketing Manager will oversee all marketing and advertising programs and promotional activities for the company.
- Develop a marketing strategy for the North America Division in line with Corporate and Company objectives. Analyze marketing programs and adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
- Manage all marketing programs and advertising campaigns within budgeted guidelines.
- Develop local advertising and promotional campaigns in collaboration with sales activities according to Corporate standards and guidelines.
- Oversee promotional activities at trade shows and other events to support sales and marketing programs. Coordinate with vendors and staff to ensure prompt delivery of materials and merchandise.
- Maintain relationships with media representatives and outside advertising agencies to ensure the organization's most effective messaging and positioning. Negotiate contract terms and media pricing and placement when necessary.
- Manage public relations activities, including press releases and press kits. Design and execute all targeted and customer relation newsletters, brochures, e-newsletters, direct mail, and social media Internet sites.
- Assist with coordinating trade shows, sales events, and product training. Participate in trade shows and company-sponsored events as necessary.
- Maintain marketing database and customer market segmentation in Great Plains.
- Create prospect list and qualify and monitor leads.
- Recruits, trains, discipline, evaluate and train new staff in the department.

- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations from a four-year college or university; and three to five years marketing-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous market analysis and social media experience and understanding trigger event-driven marketing. Highly organized with strong time management skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- COMPUTER SKILLS Knowledge and experience with Microsoft CRM and Great Plains or similar software program. Database experience. Proficiency with Adobe: Illustrator, Reader/Writer, Photoshop and CQ5; and Microsoft Office Systems, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with the public, agencies, customers, sales team, management or employees of the organization
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematical concepts such as such as addition, subtraction, volume, distance, and weights and measurement.
- REASONING ABILITY Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

This position may require the Marketing Manager to work irregular hours and travel to trade shows and other company events and locations.
