Primary Responsibilities
- Engage with all levels of ITG and operating company leadership, with a goal of understanding their business needs, cohesively documenting requirements and facilitating recommendations or enhancements.
- Anticipate changes affecting strategy including organizational improvements, technological advancements, and evolving organization needs.
- Assess solutions and communicate needs, objectives, and capabilities of each and support the evaluation and prioritization of the new demand in the IT pipeline.
- Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes, and enhance these processes.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities, business processes, functions, and procedures that can be enhanced, streamlined, or eliminated.
- Design and maintain a framework which guides all information systems integration and development, and a methodology which provides effective and responsible information management practices.
- Provide support and solutions for the integration of individual systems.
- Maintain an awareness of current and proposed technology issues and concerns within ITG and its operating companies and recommend potential solutions to meet expectations and forecasted results.
- Identify business capability and IT service gaps and contribute to improvement efforts.
- Continue regular communication with ITG and operating company leadership to discuss issues, insights, policies, updates, and practices.
- Plan, create, and conduct presentations to leadership on IT development within the organization.
- Specify requirements for current and future products by conducting internal and external research using multiple channels.
- Proactively identify, circumvent, avoid, and/or resolve issues and problems that create adverse impact on projects.
- Understand the core business processes across ITG and its operating companies, develop an understanding of existing and emerging systems supporting these processes.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field.
- Certified Business Relationship Manager (CBRM) certification preferred.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in IT, with at least three years of experience in IT business relationship management, IT service management, or IT project management.
- 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT services and solutions, including emerging technologies and trends, industries standards, solution architectures, vendor landscape, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with business stakeholders and IT teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate business needs and objectives into IT solutions and strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives, prioritize and balance competing demands, and deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience working in a global organization a plus.
