Who We Are:

AgriVision Equipment Group and PrairieLand Partners (AVE-PLP, LLC) is a joint venture between two of the top John Deere Dealerships in the United States. By joining forces, we continue to lead the charge in technology, innovation, and best-in-class service and support for our respective customers.  Our purpose is to lead agriculture in rural America.

We credit our success to our knowledgeable, competitive, hardworking, and passionate employees that strive for excellence in everything they do.  We live out our Guiding Principles of Integrity, Servant Leadership, Courageous Innovation, and Performance.

With over 100 years of experience in the agricultural industry we have a rich heritage, growth mindset, and entrepreneurial spirit. Today, we have a strong presence in numerous locations with our support spanning through western Iowa, eastern Nebraska, central and eastern Kansas, and northwest Missouri.

We are seeking driven, highly motivated, collaborative, and intellectually curious professionals who want to be part of cultivating the highest impact culture in the agriculture equipment industry. Previous experience and knowledge of large ag equipment or commercial/turf equipment is welcomed but not required. We can train with the right individual who is willing to work hard and make customers their #1 priority.

Look Forward. Adapt Often. Lead Always.

General Purpose:

AVE-PLP is looking for an innovative marketing leader to build our marketing department for the future — and to lead the team that delivers it. The person we hire will build, coach, and hold a marketing team accountable for retention-first growth across Parts, Service, Precision Ag, and Equipment Sales. Operating as a player/coach, this leader pairs hands-on execution with the vision to build durable systems and strategy, leveraging AI and modern CRM automation to do more with a lean team.

Essential Functions:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Team Leadership & Building the Function

  • Lead 2 Marketing Specialists; provide direction and accountability
  • Foster an execution-focused culture; standardize the system, localize the relationship

Customer Lifecycle Marketing

  • Build and manage CRM-driven programs across email and SMS, scoped to high-value lifecycle triggers
  • Develop customer journeys across the equipment lifecycle — service, maintenance, parts, and upgrades
  • Increase retention and lifetime value; implement segmentation and personalization
  • Close the loop from Equipment Sales to Service & Parts — ensure every trigger routes to a named owner and produces a booked sale, not just a click

Employer Brand & Recruiting Marketing

  • Make AVE-PLP a preferred employer — build an always-on employer brand that draws high-quality candidates, especially service technicians
  • Lead employee “day-in-the-life” stories and showcase career paths, pay, and facilities
  • Actively manage employer reviews (Indeed, Glassdoor, Google) and the candidate experience
  • Build a tech-school, community-college, and FFA pipeline; run an employee referral program
  • Partner with HR as co-owner of recruiting marketing and hiring follow-through

Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

  • Own internal employee communications — keep every location informed, aligned, and connected as the organization grows
  • Produce a regular internal video cadence — weekly team update videos and monthly company town-hall videos
  • Partner with leadership and HR to script, film, host, and distribute company news, wins, priorities, and change updates
  • Reinforce culture across locations — protect the connected, small-town feel internally, not just for customers
  • Own and maintain the company SharePoint site as a central hub for internal communication, resources, and company updates
  • Build two-way feedback loops so internal communications inform and engage employees, not just broadcast

Brand, Content & Local Identity

  • Lead social, video, and educational content that educates rather than promotes
  • Develop customer stories and community engagement
  • Steward the small-town-dealer feel at scale — every customer touch carries the local store name and a named local rep; no “corporate” voice
  • Strengthen local brand identity distinct from John Deere corporate; protect relationship continuity through consolidation

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Own the marketing calendar across locations
  • Execute seasonal campaigns, events, and recruiting initiatives — each tied to a revenue or pipeline mechanism
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Service, Parts, and HR, especially at the local level

Digital & Marketing Operations

  • Manage website, SEO, and lead capture
  • Implement CRM, automation, and practical AI tools; build scalable processes
  • Start simple — add more tech complexity only against proven use cases

Performance Tracking

  • Track outcome KPIs: revenue per active customer, retention, booking rates, recruiting, and perception
  • Build and manage the marketing department budget, ensuring spend is aligned with company priorities and measurable outcomes
  • Manage John Deere co-op programs, including planning, tracking, compliance, and reimbursement follow-through
  • Build reporting dashboards; retire vanity metrics (opens, followers, impressions)
  • Optimize programs based on attributed results, by store
