As a Manager, Marketing at AdventHealth, you’ll lead strategic marketing efforts that help grow key service lines, strengthen community connections, support physician relationships, and build awareness of AdventHealth throughout the Ottawa market.
This is an opportunity for a strategic, data-driven marketing leader who understands how to turn market intelligence into meaningful business results. You’ll collaborate with leaders, physicians, marketing partners, creative teams, and community organizations to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that support volume growth, market share, brand awareness, and overall business goals.
What You'll Do
As a Manager, Marketing, you will lead the day-to-day strategic marketing efforts for assigned service lines and market-specific initiatives within the Ottawa area.
Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of strategic, data-driven marketers while supporting hiring, retention, and professional development.
Develop and maintain strong physician relationships and create effective physician marketing strategies that support physician referrals and engagement.
Partner with appropriate teams on physician-to-physician marketing initiatives, lectures, events, and other opportunities to strengthen relationships within the medical community.
Manage websites and digital initiatives related to assigned service lines and markets, partnering with digital strategy teams to support effective online and social media strategies that drive engagement and volume.
Collaborate with creative teams by establishing clear objectives, providing meaningful feedback, and managing timelines to deliver effective marketing materials and campaigns.
Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring AdventHealth brand standards are consistently maintained across marketing initiatives and community activities.
Plan and execute health fairs, community events, sponsorships, affiliations, and other outreach initiatives that strengthen AdventHealth's presence in the community.
Manage service line and market-specific marketing budgets with a focus on fiscal responsibility, timely reporting, and delivering projects within established budget and timeline expectations.
Partner with research teams to develop market analysis and research while evaluating competitor, consumer, and physician insights to inform marketing strategies.
Monitor patient volume, market share, online engagement, brand preference, and other key performance indicators to evaluate marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
Develop and implement tracking mechanisms that demonstrate the impact and success of marketing programs.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
A Marketing Manager has the ability to independently develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives while seeking senior marketing leadership guidance and support when appropriate.
Proven management experience with advanced organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Experience managing integrated marketing programs, including marketing planning, volume-driving strategies, creative development and execution, communications, digital and social media, media stories, project management, event planning, community sponsorships, outreach, and research analysis.
Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations that produce measurable results.
Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, presentation, and verbal communication skills, including working knowledge of AP writing style.
Strong interpersonal and active-listening skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with executives, physicians, employees, consumers, and community partners.
Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization and build strong cross-functional relationships.
Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and external partners simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with emerging digital media and technologies and proficiency in social media platforms.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to conduct research and analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources.
Knowledge and understanding of healthcare administration, digital marketing, consumer experience, and general marketing principles and practices.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, navigate ambiguity, create structure, and diplomatically build consensus.
Ability to balance market and business analysis, strategic planning, program management, budget management, implementation, and measurement of marketing effectiveness and ROI.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience required, preferably within healthcare.
Working knowledge of the advertising process, including media placement and return on investment.
Management experience preferred.
Previous healthcare marketing experience preferred.
Valid Driver’s License required.

Pay Range:
