- A foundational new role in the recently formed Marketing Planning & Partnerships team responsible for developing insight led strategies that drive growth and optimise member engagement

As the Marketing Manager, Program in the Marketing Planning & Partnerships (MP&P) team, you will be responsible for identifying marketing opportunities to drive growth and optimise member engagement. Turning insight-led strategies into clear, concise, and actionable briefs, this role supports the Group Customer and Loyalty portfolio focused on program awareness, member lifecycle and projects including the QFF Program Changes announced this year and will drive activity into the Marketing Centre of Excellence.
The role will be responsible for the development of marketing activity plans working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to identify growth opportunities, optimise member engagement, and execute strategies that drive strong commercial results for Qantas Loyalty. Serving as the primary day-to-day contact for key internal stakeholders across program design, commercial, product and partners, you will oversee channel activity and report on performance outcomes. Additionally, you will input into overarching marketing strategies to brief integrated campaigns that generate ongoing revenue, while collaborating with analytics to translate performance data into actionable insights, optimised plans, and continuous innovation.
You’ll have:
- 5+ years’ experience in a marketing role, with experience critically reviewing marketing collateral for product, brand & regulatory fit.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
- Thorough knowledge of the consumer loyalty, lifecycle and brand marketing is preferred
- Proven ability to problem solve, negotiate & influence for a win/win outcome
- Strong strategic capabilities and the ability to drive and prioritise outcomes for a commercial return
- Curiosity in the “why & the what” driving outcomes & how marketing activity can capitalise on the state of play.
- Ability to deal with fast-paced environments and thrive under pressure and deadlines
- Highly organised, proactive and dynamic
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with Qantas management, and senior executive levels of external partners.
- Experience in Partner Relationship Management involving liaising with external partners
- Sound understanding of campaign reporting and analysis techniques
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with internal commercial and product stakeholders, and external clients/agencies
- Experience managing legal, commercial, regulatory and branding requirements
