Marketing Manager – Strategic Propositions
Location: Bupa Place, Salford Quays, M50 3SP / Hybrid working
Contract: 12 months fixed term contract, Full time
Hours: 37.5 hours a week – Monday to Friday
Salary: up to £60,000 + 10% Management Bonus + Excellent Benefits

You’ll be working closely with Product to develop Clinics market-leading propositions, and with Marketing to ensure they are effectively delivered to market to achieve sustainable and profitable growth. You will also be responsible for managing key external partnerships ensuring they contribute meaningfully to growth, reputation and customer experience.
New propositions might be as part of a wider Bupa UK strategic growth pillar or a new proposition development/partnership with a 3rd party provider.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Ensure all plans align with Clinics BAU marketing activity and the Bupa UK wider marketing strategy
- Work closely with sub teams within the Clinics Marketing team across acquisition, retention and local marketing to enable campaign delivery
- Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders of all levels including Product, Brand, Digital, PR, Health Content Operations, Data and Commercial
- Finance, to help drive the marketing agenda and ensure the marketing plan and spend is executed to maximum efficiency
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners, managing relationship development, contracts, and ongoing collaboration
- Identify new partnership opportunities that strengthen propositions or expand market reach
- Ensure partners are effectively integrated into marketing initiatives and proposition delivery
- Provide clear, structured briefs and proposition packs for internal teams to facilitate effective go-to-market plans
- Support the development of multichannel launch plans and marketing campaigns
- Ensure consistency of proposition messaging across all customer touchpoints through the creation of messaging manifestos for our key propositions
- Use customer insight, competitor intelligence, and performance data to inform proposition development and refinement
- Measure key metrics related to proposition uptake, brand impact, and partnership performance
- Continuously optimise propositions and partnerships based on insight, feedback, and market shifts
- Collaborate closely with the Central Brand Team to ensure that new propositions creative and messaging ladders up to the overall brand platform and push for wider Clinics awareness through Brand-led activity
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Be an experienced, multi-disciplined – digitally focused - marketeer with an impressive track record of achieving commercial objectives
- Have strong campaign planning and delivery and budget management experience
- Effective, influential communication, story-telling and presentation skills
- Strong ability to synthesise insight and turn it into clear, compelling propositions
- Experience working with Product teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- Commercially astute with strong strategic thinking capabilities
- Curious, proactive, and insight driven with excellent analytical skills
- Highly collaborative and able to build strong, trusting relationships
- Confident in challenging approaches to ensure the best outcome for customers and the business
- Organised, with strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Able to navigate a fast paced environment and balance multiple priorities
