Marketing Manager - Smart Cities (m/f/d)

As Marketing Manager you will play a leading role in developing and deploying the Go-to-Market strategy in specific Smart Cities market segments for the Secure Edge Identification Product Line. You will be working very closely with NXP product managers, customer application support, global sales and business development teams to identify customer opportunities, articulate NXP’s value proposition and drive customer engagements and ecosystems.

More specifically, as a Marketing Manager, you will

• Lead product and business planning activities including: market/technology trends, market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM), competitive analysis, revenue, product positioning and pricing

• Be accountable for topline, market share and design win value in designated industry verticals

• Manage customer engagements and drive them to success

• Structure the market requirements and actively contribute to product roadmaps together with Product Management team

• Drive marketing programs through and to the regions

• Establish and maintain strategic alliances with key partners and eco system players

• Create a position of thought leadership for NXP in the Smart Cities security market

• Participate to conferences and tradeshows, create articles, presentations, webinars, speeches, press releases and press events

• Drive product introduction programs for new innovative security ICs and NXP’s solution offering

• Define targeted MarCom activities (content ownership of e.g. leaflets, webpages, industry initiatives, etc.)

Your profile:

• 10+ years of experience combining positions in Marketing, Product Management and/or Business Development, with at least 3 years of experience in one or more markets such as smart cities

• Education: MSEE or MBA preferred

• Experience in the semiconductor industry is an asset

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Experience in creating marketing/product presentations and collaterals

• Ability to establish open communications with key contacts at partner companies and end-customers

• B2B background with strong technology understanding

• Experience with NFC and/or embedded security

• Desire to learn, grow and make an impact

• Ability to act as a thought leader

• Self-starter and pacemaker for others

• Team player, able to work collaboratively across geographies and functions and drive performance of cross-functional teams

• Languages: fluent in English
