THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Marketing Manager, Demand Generation will oversee the development and execution of integrated digital marketing programs for specific customer segments. This role includes creating annual marketing plans and developing content that supports lead generation efforts. Working closely with the Business Development team, the Marketing Manager, Demand Generation will drive marketing activities aimed at expanding business opportunities. 

In collaboration with the marketing operations team, the Marketing Manager, Demand Generation, will ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and report on campaign performance throughout the program. This is an on-site role in our Ottawa office.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and execute fully integrated marketing plans for allocated customer segments. 

  • Collaborate with Customer Segment Leads and Product Marketing to drive targeted initiatives. 

  • Work with internal teams to develop content plans to support marketing program initiatives. 

  • Manage newsletters, including content and subscriber lists, with a focus on growing active user engagement. 

  • Build and manage integrated campaigns using digital advertising, social media, media partnerships, and email. 

  • Oversee the planning and execution of webinars and seminars, including processes and content. 

  • Track, report, and analyze marketing activities, providing weekly updates on email, advertising, and social media performance. 

  • Be accountable for marketing leads generated for the specific customer segment(s) and report on progress towards goals. 

  • Review campaign impact through platform analytics and provide regular updates to the Business Development, Sales, and Customer Engagement teams.


WHO YOU ARE

  • Post Secondary education in Marketing or related fields. 

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience in an information services industry or related field. 

  • 2+ years of experience with reporting in Salesforce. 

  • Motivated self-starter, with a strong drive for continuous learning and growth. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 

  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge. 

  • Experience working cross functionally across organizations. 

  • Experience collaborating with sales and business development considered a strong asset.
