Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

Netflix is pursuing consumer products because we believe they will drive meaningful show awareness/buzz with more tangible, curated ways to interact with our most popular content and, in effect, drive long-term revenue. We want licensed merchandise to help promote our titles and build them into franchises so they become part of the zeitgeist for long periods of time. That’s where you come in. We’re seeking someone to drive retail brand/marketing campaigns and executions for the Consumer Products team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop licensees and retail marketing campaigns (across mass & specialty accounts) to support key titles while managing the execution of all omni-channel tactics.

  • Work with licensees on the execution of retail specific campaigns while integrating key partners into bigger retail initiatives led by Netflix.

  • Key understanding of retail account strategies and core consumer trends to provide solutions that are innovative while being executable at retail.

  • Define the right marketing and media mix to amplify partner/retail marketing campaigns (i.e. in-store, to digital, social commerce etc).

  • Expert on digital and social campaigns and defining effective ways to drive engagement and sales of products through custom content, influencer partnerships, SEO, display, & sponsored product campaigns.

  • Partner with retailers, licensees, and internal Netflix cross-functional/global teams on the development and execution and amplification of marketing programs.

  • Be an internal and external champion of the opportunity and vision with regards to our marketing strategy and push for innovation, out-of-the box ideas and unique campaigns.

  • Partner with agencies and creative teams for retail marketing concept developments.

  • Ability to project manage multiple projects at once within a very fast paced environment.

  • Manage and maintain marketing and retail budget.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of marketing experience within consumer products or retail-related industries.

  • Demonstrated retail experience, with a strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and go-to-market strategies across various channels.

  • Studio background, ideally with hands-on experience collaborating with x-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Hardlines expertise, with proven success managing or marketing hardlines categories (e.g., toys, collectibles, home goods) and an understanding of their unique market dynamics.

  • In-depth knowledge of mass, specialty, and e-commerce marketing account strategies across the EMEA market.

  • Robust understanding of the licensing landscape, with established contacts and network across key EMEA licensing and retail markets.

  • Solid grasp of social and digital marketing, including campaign planning and execution across platforms.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of retail and industry trends, with the ability to leverage insights for strategy development.

  • High level of organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in English is required; fluency in an additional European language is a plus

Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, ancestry, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic makeup, marital status, or military service.

Netflix Compensation & Benefits Highlights

The following summarizes recurring compensation and benefits themes identified from responses generated by popular LLMs to common candidate questions about Netflix and has not been reviewed or approved by Netflix.

  • Fair & Transparent Compensation Compensation is positioned as “personal top of market” with regular recalibration and broad posted ranges for senior roles that signal the philosophy. The cash‑forward structure and clearly described pay‑mix choices help set expectations on how pay is determined.
  • Equity Value & Accessibility Employees can choose the mix of cash versus fully vested 10‑year stock options, with grants structured to be retained even after departure. This employee‑directed design increases accessibility and control over equity participation.
  • Healthcare Strength Health coverage is described as comprehensive across medical, dental, vision, and mental health, with employer funding designed to offset premiums. Additional resources like counseling/coaching and wellness support reinforce breadth in care access.
