Position Summary

The Brand & Content Marketing Manager is responsible for bringing the organization's brands to life through compelling content, consistent brand standards, engaging social media programs, and impactful training initiatives.

This role serves as the steward of brand voice, personality, messaging, and content development across customer-facing and employee-facing communications. A successful candidate will create and implement content strategies, manage social media presence, expand and maintain brand standards, support product training initiatives, and develop employee training programs that strengthen organizational capabilities.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for a creative marketer who enjoys writing, storytelling, visual communication, training development, and brand building.

Approximately 70% of the role is dedicated to marketing and brand-building activities and 30% dedicated to employee and organizational training program development.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy & Brand Governance:

  • Develop, document, and maintain brand voice, tone, personality, and messaging frameworks.
  • Expand and manage comprehensive brand standards, including visual identity, content guidelines, messaging principles, and communication best practices.
  • Ensure consistency across websites, social media, presentations, literature, training materials, and internal communications.
  • Conduct periodic brand audits and identify opportunities to improve brand consistency and effectiveness.
  • Support brand evolution, rebranding initiatives, acquisitions, and new product commercialization efforts.
  • Measure & track brand equity, awareness, sentiment and other related metrics

Content Strategy & Development:

  • Develop and maintain a content strategy aligned with business priorities, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Create high quality written content including:
  • Website content
  • Blog articles
  • Social media posts
  • Email campaigns
  • Product materials
  • Customer success stories
  • Sales enablement content
  • Internal communications
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, sales, and subject matter experts to develop compelling technical and customer focused content.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear messaging.
  • Manage editorial calendars and content production schedules.

Social Media & Digital Engagement:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies focused on brand awareness, engagement, thought leadership, and customer value.
  • Manage company social media platforms, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
  • Create written and visual social media content that supports business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on social media performance and engagement metrics.
  • Stay current on emerging content and social media trends and recommend improvements.

Creative Design Support:

  • Create and update marketing assets using established brand standards.
  • Develop visual content for:
  • Social media
  • Presentations
  • Product training
  • Internal communications
  • Digital campaigns
  • Provide light graphic design support using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Coordinate with external creative partners when advanced design support is required.

Product Training & Commercialization Support:

  • Develop product training materials and learning resources that support customers, distribution partners, and sales teams.
  • Create presentations, training guides, videos, e-learning content, and product education resources.
  • Support new product launches by developing training and communication materials.
  • Partner with sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and effectiveness.

Employee Training & Organizational Development (30%):

  • Partner with Human Resources and business leaders to develop employee training programs.
  • Design and maintain onboarding, compliance, professional development, and organizational training initiatives.
  • Develop training materials including:
  • Instructor-led training presentations
  • E-learning modules
  • Job aids
  • Training videos
  • Reference materials
  • Coordinate training schedules, communications, and participation tracking.
  • Measure training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, content marketing, brand management, communications, or related fields.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Experience managing business social media channels.
  • Experience developing content across multiple formats and audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, distribution, construction or technical B2B markets.
  • Experience creating employee training programs or instructional content.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM systems, and content management platforms.
  • Experience with video creation and editing.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
