The Marketing Manager / Brand Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of brand strategies for Pfizer's metabolic disease portfolio in broad market.
This role will drive key marketing initiatives, customer engagement programs, market development activities, and launch execution to accelerate brand growth. The individual will work closely with Sales, Medical, Access, Digital, and Regional Marketing teams to translate strategic objectives into effective field execution and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Execution
- Support the development and execution of annual brand plans and tactical programs.
- Translate brand strategies into impactful customer-facing activities.
- Drive execution excellence across key campaigns, congresses, speaker programs, and promotional initiatives.
- Monitor business performance and recommend optimization opportunities.
2. Customer Engagement & Market Development
- Develop customer-centric engagement programs targeting endocrinologists and other relevant specialties.
- Build disease awareness and strengthen physician preference through scientific and educational initiatives.
- Support customer activation and market expansion efforts across priority accounts and healthcare systems.
- Collect and translate customer insights into actionable business recommendations.
3. Launch & Performance Acceleration
- Support launch planning and execution of innovative metabolic products.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure successful implementation of launch milestones.
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Track key performance indicators and provide regular business insights to leadership.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Digital, Commercial Excellence, and Regional Marketing teams.
- Ensure alignment between strategy and field execution.
- Support budget management, project governance, and compliance requirements.
- Drive effective communication and coordination across stakeholders.
5. Business Analytics & Insight Generation
- Conduct market analysis, customer segmentation, and performance tracking.
- Generate actionable insights using internal and external data sources.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Support forecasting and business-planning processes.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or above in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.
Experience
- 3-5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Previous experience in marketing, product management, commercial excellence, or sales is preferred.
- Experience in innovative product launches is an advantage.
