Marketing Manager – Adriatics & Malta

About the role

The Marketing Manager Adriatics & Malta has full responsibility for the assigned market growth and its performance. In this role you will be responsible for adapting global & regional marketing strategies to local market needs based on local insights and deep consumer understanding. You will be implementing strategies and plans to drive consumer engagement, brand awareness, and sales growth. You will influence several key strategic partners including the CEE BU Marketing teams and the CEE Export Markets Leadership Team to get approval and alignments on key initiatives. In this role you will have full P&L accountability.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, training, and support in executing marketing initiatives effectively. 

  • Oversee brand marketing efforts, ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity, and positioning across various channels and touchpoints. 

  • Manage media investments by collaborating with media agencies to develop media plans, optimize media spend, and track campaign performance. 

  • Coordinate and execute promotional activities, including product launches, seasonal campaigns, and other marketing initiatives, to drive consumer awareness and purchase intent. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, product development, and creative services, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts. 

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, market opportunities, and competitive landscape, and utilize insights to inform marketing strategies. 

  • Manage trade marketing activities, including trade promotions, merchandising, and channel-specific marketing initiatives, to support sales and distribution goals. 

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or a similar role in the FMCH or FMCG industry.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of brand marketing, media planning, and trade marketing. 

  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business growth and consumer engagement. 

  • Experience in new product launches.

  • Proficient in market research and analysis techniques.

  • Fluent English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Results-oriented mindset with can do attitude and focus on delivering measurable outcomes and achieving targets.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals.

Location – this role is based in: Budapest or Warsaw
