What You’ll Do
As a Marketing Intern, you will support the Marketing and Strategy Vice President with market intelligence, research, and reporting activities that help guide business decisions across multiple operating companies. This entry-level internship provides exposure to market research, competitive analysis, and the use of digital and AI tools to gather and communicate insights.
Responsibilities may include:
- Support ongoing market intelligence gathering using sources such as IBISWorld, Dodge Construction Network, industry reports, analyst insights, market studies, digital searches, and field intelligence
- Assist in exploring the use of AI and custom GPT tools to help automate the collection and organization of market data
- Help prepare market intelligence reports and summaries for different audiences, including internal teams, executive leadership, and customers
- Tailor research findings into clear, concise reporting content based on the intended audience
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of recurring reports, dashboards, and insight summaries
- Support special market research projects as needed
- Organize and maintain research files, data sources, and documentation
- Collaborate with team members across marketing, strategy, and business leadership
- Participate in meetings and contribute ideas related to market trends, competitive activity, and business opportunities
This role will provide exposure to market research, competitive intelligence, AI-enabled research tools, reporting, and business strategy within a global manufacturing organization.
What You’ll Need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- Interest in entrepreneurship, manufacturing, market research, or business strategy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and research findings
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
- Exposure to AI tools, ChatGPT, or digital research tools is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) preferred
