Purpose:
The Marketing Intern provides hands-on support to the GreenMark Marketing team while gaining real-world experience in marketing, communications, event planning, and creative design. This internship offers the opportunity to learn multiple areas of marketing by assisting with day-to-day projects that support GreenMark's dealerships, employees, and customers.
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Creative Support
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials for digital, print, social media, and in-store signage.
- Help write and edit content for social media, blog posts, internal communications, and promotional materials.
- Proofread advertisements and marketing communications for grammar, formatting, and accuracy.
- Assist with graphic design projects under the direction of the Marketing team.
- Support photography, video, and content creation projects as opportunities arise.
Event Support
- Assist with planning and coordinating company events, customer events, and trade shows.
- Help prepare event materials and promotional items.
- Provide on-site support during marketing events when needed.
Marketing Operations
- Organize and maintain marketing inventory and promotional materials.
- Assist with fulfilling marketing requests from GreenMark locations.
- Help organize digital files, marketing assets, and department documents.
- Perform general administrative tasks including purchase orders, document organization, and data entry.
Digital Marketing Support
- Assist with maintaining GreenMark's Google Business Profiles by updating business information and helping monitor customer reviews and questions.
- Support the marketing team with research, reporting, and basic marketing analytics.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
Required
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Acrobat.
- Familiarity with InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or Adobe Express.
- Graphic design or photography experience.
- Basic video editing skills.
- Experience using social media platforms for business or school projects.
