This role is focused on developing, cultivating and managing relationships with key strategic partners to enhance business growth, product offerings, market presence and customer satisfaction through collaborative and mutually beneficial partnerships. The Marketing Executive Partnerships works to ensure that these collaborations are effective, sustainable, and aligned with the company’s objectives, ultimately driving mutual benefits for both parties by identifying opportunities for further collaboration and integration.
The Partnerships team is responsible for managing the relationship with key strategic partners with the objective of accelerating and scaling sustainable and profitable growth of the Benelux Consumer business. The team’s primary goal is to increase engagement (usage), spend (BB) and improve loyalty (NPS), manage day-to-day operations and to support initiatives to grow the partnerships.
Reporting into the Manager Partnerships, you will manage and support various projects and campaigns for our strategic partnerships to drive business results. You will design and own partnership (marketing) plans and manage execution. Additionally, this role requires continuous monitoring and analysis of partnership performance. The Marketing Executive Partnerships acts as a liaison between partners and internal teams, facilitating communication and project execution to ensure the success of the partnership for American Express.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day operations and further develop relationships with partners
- Responsible for end-to-end campaign management and marketing communications (all channels with a focus on digital) in relation to partnerships
- Negotiate terms and conditions of partnership contracts to achieve mutual benefits
- Draft and finalize partnership agreements and contracts
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in partnership agreements
Monitor the progress and success of partnerships against predefined metrics
Analyse partnership data and provide regular reports to stakeholders and ensuring alignment with business goals
Present partnership plans and progress updates to stakeholders
You will work closely with various international teams, the Acquisition team, the Product team, the Business Enablement team and the Communication team to grow existing and new partnerships.- Create and leverage best practices within the cluster with Sweden, Finland, Norway, Spain and Argentina.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience as a Partnership Manager
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ambitious, enthusiastic, hands-on individual
- Strong interpersonal, communication and networking skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with partners and foster successful and long-term partnerships
- Diplomacy and tact in communication to foster trust and cooperation
- Organizational skills to plan and execute partnership initiatives effectively

- Strong project management skills to manage and execute multiple projects to critical timelines alongside excellent attention to detail
- Good (internal) partner/stakeholder management skills and organizational sensitivity

- Strategic thinking to identify win-win solutions during negotiations
- Business development skills to assess the feasibility of partnership opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication to convey partnership proposals and agreements.
- Ability to tailor communication to various audiences, including senior management and stakeholders, to align partnership objectives with organizational goals
- Accurate in budgeting, invoicing and payment processing
- Excellent written & oral communication and presentation skills in English in addition to fluent in Dutch
