We are looking for a Marketing Events Intern. This entry-level role is ideal for a creative, organized, and motivated individual eager to launch a career in event marketing and event coordination. We are looking for a Marketing Events Intern to support the planning, promotion, coordination, and execution of virtual and in-person marketing events that enhance CAI's brand awareness, client engagement, and community presence. This position will be full-time internship and hybrid, working remotely and from our Allentown, PA office from June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027.
What You'll Do
Assist in the planning and coordination of marketing events, including webinars, conferences, trade shows, client events, and internal company events
Help manage event logistics, including registration processes, attendee communications, vendor coordination, and event timelines
Support the development and maintenance of event calendars, project plans, and event checklists
Help schedule and facilitate internal planning meetings with stakeholders to align on event content, messaging, and timelines
Pack, ship, and track event materials, booth assets, and promotional items while coordinating with event organizers
Support virtual and in-person event execution, including pre-event preparation, exhibitor documentation, and post-event follow-up activities
Assist in developing promotional campaigns to drive event attendance and engagement
Support event-related communications through email, social media, and other marketing channels
Help create and schedule content promoting upcoming events and highlighting event outcomes
Ensure event messaging aligns with CAI brand standards and marketing objectives
Help coordinate relationships with industry organizations, educational institutions, and vendors
Support outreach efforts to increase participation and awareness of CAI-sponsored events
Assist with attendee engagement strategies before, during, and after events
Support the collection and analysis of event performance metrics, including registrations, attendance, engagement, and attendee feedback
Assist in preparing post-event reports and recommendations to improve future events
Gain exposure to additional marketing functions, including webinar production and campaign development
What You'll Need
Required:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, Public Relations, or a related field
Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Basic understanding of marketing and event planning concepts
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Enthusiasm for marketing, event planning, and brand engagement
Must be local to Allentown, Pennsylvania for event coordination
Preferred:
Prior internship, volunteer, leadership, or campus organization experience involving event planning or coordination
Experience promoting events through social media or digital marketing channels
Familiarity with virtual event platforms, registration tools, or project management software
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Ability to attend meetings, training sessions, and security-related activities as required

$17 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
