THE ROLE

As the Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our company's overall marketing strategy. Reporting to the VP Brand you will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness, conversion at shelf, and revenue growth.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends to increase market share, brand recognition and consumer engagement.
  • Define portfolio architecture, consumer target and brand positioning ensuring consistent look, tone and messaging across all channels to drive brand distinction and relevance.
  • Plan and execute best-in-class integrated marketing campaigns that include broadcast, digital, social, influencer, partnership and loyalty marketing.
  • Effectively lead the commercialization of new products, partnerships, flavors, formats and channel opportunities informed by data and insights.
  • Work with consumer insights team to conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and refine marketing strategies.
  • Establish KPIs, track brand performance metrics, and analyze campaign effectiveness to drive household penetration growth and positive ROI.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources wisely and ensuring cost-efficiency to balance top and bottom-line performance.
  • Collaborate with sales, product development, and other teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals, supporting product launches and sales initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to test, learn and optimize to evolve at the pace of culture to drive brand growth, relevance and performance.
  • Mentor, motivate and guide the professional development of a high performing marketing team.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior marketing role, with a track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies; brand-side experience required; CPG preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, brand management, digital marketing, and market analysis.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and strategic thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Depth of experience in CPG and the retail environment with proven success in collaborating with sales to expand distribution, product portfolio and relationships with key customers.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (POS, panel data, CRM, analytics platforms, etc.).

COMPENSATION:

$155,000-$170,000 base salary + bonus
