About The Position
Dotdash Meredith is seeking a Marketing Director to join our Health & Pharma Ad Sales Vertical. Reporting to the Marketing Executive Director responsible for Direct Response, you will help to lead team members as they execute our RFP process, and help drive our revenue strategy and go-to-market materials.
About Your Contributions:
Lead vertical specific and portfolio-wide proposal process by managing proactive and RFP responses, creating smart, strategic ideas for advertising partners
Develop creative strategic proposals, meeting presentations, proactive pitch programs and educational materials for multiple clients each week
Use brand storytelling to bring ideas to life through well-written and visually-appealing proposals that represent our brands flawlessly, continually refining pitches based on client feedback
Collaborate to drive positioning, brand franchises, and sellable opportunities for our brands, with potential to contribute to additional Dotdash Meredith brands
Partner with Account Strategy, Sales, Content Strategy and Brand Marketing to support process iteration and meet client needs
Hybrid 3x a week- New York
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Experience:
8–10 years of marketing experience, preferably within a digital media publisher.
2+ years working directly with health and pharmaceutical clients.
2+ years of people leadership experience—you know how to coach, develop, and inspire talent.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
Exceptional Communication Skills: Adept at crafting and delivering clear, persuasive messaging across a range of audiences—from internal stakeholders to external partners—while remaining composed and solution-oriented under pressure.
Integrated Media Expertise: Deep understanding of the advertising landscape, including both digital and print media, with the ability to strategically align offerings to client goals. Familiarity with health/pharma advertising and the broader tech and data-driven marketing ecosystem is a strong plus.
Strategic Self-Starter: A proactive thinker with a strong grasp of organizational objectives who can independently identify opportunities, pitch ideas, and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
Agility in Fast-Paced Environments: Thrives in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting with the ability to prioritize, pivot, and problem-solve efficiently while keeping a positive, collaborative mindset.
Innovation Through Cross Portfolio Solutions: Skilled in leveraging lifestyle and health-endemic brands to develop innovative, audience-first solutions that resonate culturally and drive measurable impact—bringing creativity and relevance to every campaign.

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
