About this role
You’ll be joining the Semsee team as the point person for the bulk of our marketing needs. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of our social media channels and email campaigns to keep people both informed and excited about what we’re building here. You’ll work closely with multiple internal stakeholders to best understand our product and how it addresses our clients’ needs.
You Will
- Work closely with the Sales team, Carrier Team, Customer Success, and our Executive team as well as other internal stakeholders to craft a communication strategy
- Collaborate with Sales team in the production of an annual event marketing plan / calendar that supports our business objectives, including planning, coordinating, and submitting for speakers to be involved both from our clients/customers and Semsee leaders.
- Create marketing materials both for online and print that help build enthusiasm around our company and product
- Gather, analyze, and generate monthly reports on marketing KPIs for email, social, and in-app performance metrics
You’re Well Qualified for this Role if You Have:
- 1-4 years of marketing experience, bonus points if you have some insurance experience as well
- Familiarity with Hubspot, Canva, and Metabase
- Experience with copywriting and adhering to our brand guidelines

Semsee is a technology company in the commercial insurance space. We are a startup incubated and funded by two large investors in the reinsurance space. Our product digitizes what has until recently been a slow and manual process of getting commercial insurance for small- to medium-sized business. In using Semsee, independent insurance agents and brokers experience orders of magnitude improvements in their sales processes, resulting in higher productivity and ultimately, client satisfaction.
