Position Objective:

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with senior management to develop, establish, and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives and establish marketing tactics to help increase sales for all Léal properties in the portfolio.   This position will create highly engaging digital assets for our websites, menus, social media platforms, digital and print marketing campaigns, menus, and other related initiatives while ensuring all content is web-optimized and compatible across all viewports/properties. This may include, but not be limited to emails, landing pages, banners (Static, GIF and Flash), etc.

They are creative, trendy, charismatic, knowledgeable, and exceptionally well-versed in the latest sales and marketing techniques. They aren’t afraid to think outside of the box! 

Essential Job Functions

  • Create, design, and develop engaging graphic designs for print and electronic collateral, menus, website and social media content that are aligned with our brand for marketing campaigns and efforts throughout our portfolio.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing plans and projects for increasing business
  • Assist with developing and expanding marketing platforms
  • Assist with updating and maintaining our company websites
  • Assist with maintaining and improving brand identity, brand images, print collateral, and other design and communication assets
  • Assist with managing the productivity of marketing plans and projects
  • Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results
  • Take photos and videos for marketing content as needed
  • Send weekly reports of social media engagements and impressions
  • Strategize how to increase social media engagements and impressions
  • Communicate any areas of need, problems, and concerns from a guest to the Vice President of Hospitality
  • Being a team player is essential
  • All other tasks as requested by management 
Qualifications

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Competences:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in Graphic Design, Marketing and/or Communications and all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategy
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in web/digital graphic design and production, including websites, emails, web banners, social media and mobile device marketing pieces
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong sense of design, composition, typography, and layout skills and digital portfolio with HTML samples
  • Experience with photography, video editing, website maintenance, web analytics, and SEO preferred
  • Mac proficient. Must have technical proficiency and advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, the Adobe creative suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.), and multiple communication channels including web, email, and social media
  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • Possess a passion for the visual storytelling of a brand
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including positive interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization skills and time management skills and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or under minimal supervision and the ability to take full ownership of a task or project and present ideas clearly and effectively
  • Ability to multitask, switch gears, and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to produce accurate and high-quality work 
  • Possess analytical and creative thinking with problem-solving skills and deductive reasoning abilities
  • Possess and maintain a current California Driver License with a satisfactory and safe driving record
  • Will be required to travel to other locations within the portfolio on a frequent basis including starting your shift at different properties.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in collaborative/cross-functional team settings, with and without supervision
  • Desire to have a direct hand in transforming and growing our brand
  • A strong business sense, and understands how your designs affect the business
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Complete all assigned projects on time, with clear communication regarding deadlines and workload.
