The Communications Department at the ASPCA is a passionate, collaborative team that leverages this strong public trust to advance the ASPCA’s mission to protect dogs, cats, equines, and farm animals across the United States.
Who We Are
Join a team of experts on our Marketing Communications team, which is comprised of marketing, creative, editorial, digital and event professionals to make a real impact on animals by helping advance our lifesaving work and create meaningful change for animals. This position also works closely with key stakeholders across the Communication and Development divisions.
What You’ll Do
The Coordinator, Marketing reports to the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing and supports the planning, execution, optimization and reporting for both brand and audience driven campaigns. Success requires strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional workstreams and ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.

This is a hybrid position and will require occasional commuting to the 8th Avenue ASPCA location.

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, training, experience, location, business needs, internal equity, market demands or budgeted amount for the role. The target hiring range is for new hire offers only, and staff compensation may increase beyond the maximum hiring range based on performance over time. The maximum of the hiring range is reserved for candidates with the highest qualifications and relevant experience. The expected hiring salary range for this role is set forth below and may be modified in the future.
The target hiring range for this role is $27.41 - $28.85 / hour

Integrated Planning and Campaign Support
- Working closely with stakeholders across teams within the Communication and Development divisions, this position supports the development and execution of integrated campaigns that effectively engage key audiences across brand and audience-specific initiatives, including, but not limited to animal welfare professionals (B2B) and policymakers.
- Assist with compiling campaign assets, messaging and routing materials for review and approval across multiple marketing campaigns
- Coordinate day-to-day work with external vendors and partners to ensure deliverables are met
- Assist in the development, execution and performance tracking of paid and pro bono media plans
- Partner with creative and event teams to help develop brand activations that drive audience engagement and expand reach
- Contribute to identifying and cultivating brand marketing partnerships that enhance visibility and impact
- Collaborate with the corporate partnerships team to support marketing needs tied to development initiatives
Project Management
- Coordinate project management across integrated campaigns and key initiatives using internal tools, processes and workflows
- Organize and facilitate virtual and in-person team meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, notetaking and documentation of key takeaways across the marketing team
- Provide stakeholders with clear updates on project status, milestones, timelines and performance insights
- Serve as a point of contact for inbound requests from external vendors and prospective brand partners, evaluating and routing as appropriate
- Monitor emerging marketing trends and share relevant insights or recommendations to inform testing and innovation
Campaign Invoicing, Tracking and Reporting
- Support marketing team with vendor invoicing process and maintains accurate budget tracking across all marketing initiatives
- Partner with analytics and reporting leads to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure awareness and engagement across campaigns, key moments and priority projects
- Contribute to the development of campaign and project reports by compiling data and summarizing performance insights
Qualifications
