What this position entails

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing team across event execution and day to day marketing operations. This role ideal for someone early in their marketing career who enjoys juggling details, coordinating across teams, and helping projects move from idea to completion. 

In this role, you’ll act as a central point of coordination for marketing requests, event materials, and creative production—helping ensure initiatives are scoped correctly, timelines are met, and stakeholders stay informed. You’ll gain hands on experience across modern marketing channels while building strong project management and collaboration skills. 

What you will be doing

Marketing Intake & Project Coordination 

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming marketing requests, helping gather requirements, clarify needs, and route work appropriately 
    • Guide internal stakeholders through structured intake and project briefing to set expectations around timelines, templates, and available solutions 
    • Coordinate marketing projects at various stages, ensuring tasks move forward smoothly and deadlines are tracked 

Creative & Asset Production Support 

    • Act as liaison between internal stakeholders and design resources to support the production of marketing assets such as:  
    • Event materials (in person and digital) 
    • Social media visuals 
    • Marketing collateral and templates 
    • Track proofs, revisions, and approvals to support on time delivery of materials 

Event Support 

    • Support planning and execution of marketing events by coordinating materials, timelines, and internal inputs 
    • Assist with event related assets, logistics coordination, and post event documentation as needed 

Process & Team Support 

    • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to maintain and evolve templates, resources, and workflows 
    • Work with project managers and marketing colleagues to support execution across digital and event channels 
    • Help document processes, active projects, and outputs to support continuous improvement of marketing workflows 
    • Identify opportunities for efficiency and help implement foundational execution plans

    What we need

    Experience & Skills 

      • 2–4+ years of professional experience in customer service, project coordination, marketing support, or a related role 
      • Exposure to modern marketing channels (digital marketing, events, social, or creative production) 
      • Hands on experience supporting marketing production activities or coordinated deliverables 
      • Comfort using common project and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, or similar platforms

      • Clear, professional communication skills—written and verbal

          Location

          The expected application deadline for this job is May 8, 2026. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events (up to 25%)

          Compensation

          The overall salary range for this role is $59,200 - $109,020. For candidates residing in: 

          • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the range is $68,080 - $109,020.
          • All other states the range is $59,200 - $94,800.

          A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
