Responsibilities
About the role
We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support our demand generation programs at DX. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role: you'll be deep in the tools, the data, and the details that make campaigns work.
You'll help execute campaigns across paid ads, email, SEO, and our website, sometimes on well-defined projects, and other times on messy, ambiguous ones that need to be figured out from scratch. Some days you'll be building lists or cleaning data; other days you'll be drafting copy, QA'ing landing pages, or digging through metrics to see what's working.
This role is ideal for someone who isn't afraid of "hairy" problems or unglamorous work, and who wants to master the fundamentals of B2B demand generation by doing the real, hands-on work behind the scenes.
This role is expected to be in the office four days a week, with an optional work-from-home day on Thursdays. DX's office is located in downtown Salt Lake City, and we provide parking passes for all in-office employees.
Responsibilities
This is a wide-ranging role, and what you work on will shift based on team needs. Below is a list of example projects and tasks you might take on.
Marketing campaign management:
- Monitor and optimize Google Ads and LinkedIn campaigns through A/B testing, performance analysis, and conversion funnel tracking.
- Coordinate email campaign execution across outbound, lifecycle, and nurture programs, managing deliverability, domain health, and campaign scheduling.
- Support field event lead generation activities, including pre-event audience targeting, attendee list building, and post-event follow-up campaign coordination.
- Collaborate with field marketing teams to develop integrated campaigns that drive event attendance and maximize lead capture opportunities.
- Execute post-event nurture campaigns to convert event attendees into qualified leads through targeted email sequences and personalized outreach.
Marketing analytics and optimization:
- Analyze performance metrics and ROI, providing insights on lead quality, conversion rates, and recommendations for future strategy optimization.
- Leverage data and analytics to provide optimization recommendations and improve campaign ROI across all channels.
- Test and optimize campaign tactics to reduce friction and increase conversion rates through systematic experimentation.
- Manage data hygiene, lead scoring, and audience targeting strategies based on engagement patterns and customer behavior analysis.
Cross-functional execution:
- Partner with internal teams to ensure messaging, timing, and content are aligned with target audience needs and campaign objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution, including managing project timelines and resource allocation.
- Stay current on B2B SaaS marketing trends and bring innovative, data-driven ideas to DX's demand programs.
How we work at DX

We can't control outcomes due to competitors, the economy, decision-makers, etc., but what we can control is doing our jobs at the highest level possible.
How you work
On your first day, we'll expect you have:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, demand generation, or related field, ideally in B2B SaaS or technology.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to draw insights from performance metrics.
- Excellent writing skills with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to quickly pick up new tools, platforms, and technical concepts.
- Track record of excellence and self-motivation with a growth mindset
- Experience or familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools.
- Empathetic, collaborative approach with low ego and strong team player mentality.
- Ambitious and persistent with excitement to experiment with new marketing tools and platforms.
Bonus points for
- Familiarity with paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Experience with email marketing or CRM platforms
- Understanding of marketing analytics and tracking
- Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, or business development best practices
- Experience marketing to technical or B2B audiences
- Basic understanding of marketing automation and workflows
