Marketing Content Creator  

Billingsley Company has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Content Creator to support our overall marketing endeavors across the company. This role will be responsible for creating innovative ways to expand Billingsley’s message reach through content creation and copywriting, social media management, and reputation management. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Create content for a variety of platforms including websites and social media 
  • Capture and edit high-quality photo and video content across Billingsley properties, amenities, events, retailers and company initiatives. 
  • Write copy that is creative, keenly edited and proofread, and aligned with business objectives 
  • Manage social media strategy and content calendars, scheduling, publishing, engagement and reporting across corporate, multifamily, commercial and retail accounts using Sprout Social 
  • Manage online reputation by monitoring ratings and reviews, assisting with responses and identifying opportunities to improve ratings 
  • Research consumer trends to ensure that content is effective in reaching the desired target audience 
  • Monitor social media, email and digital campaign analytics and use insights to improve future content and marketing efforts 
  • Stay current on social media trends, emerging content formats and technology, and bring new ideas and recommendations to the Marketing team 
  • Create, manage and optimize Meta advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, creative development and campaign reporting. 
  • Build, schedule and manage email marketing campaigns in Emma, including list segmentation, campaign design and performance tracking. 
  • Manage Google Business Profiles and online reputation across the portfolio, including property information, photos, posts, ratings, reviews and strategies to improve local visibility and engagement.  
  • Use generative AI and emerging creative technology to support ideation, copywriting, image and video creation, editing and marketing workflows, while identifying new tools that can improve quality, speed and effectiveness.  
  • Coordinate Matterport virtual tours and other property-focused digital content, maintain organized creative asset libraries, and collaborate with property, leasing, operations and marketing teams on launches, lease-ups, events and campaigns 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, tenants and retailers on content shoots, campaigns, property launches and events while managing multiple projects and deadlines 
  • Additional day-to-day business responsibilities include:  
  • Participating in team meetings 
  • Maintaining status reports and timelines 
  • Organizing, tagging, and filing photography and created marketing materials 

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required 
  • Advanced knowledge of various social media platforms and how to use and manage a profile effectively for business (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Google Places, Yelp, etc.) 
  • Experience managing multiple Google Business Profiles   
  • Experience with ratings and reviews and reputation management platforms. 
  • Excellent copywriting, proofreading and editing skills with a strong eye for branding and visual storytelling 
  • Proficiency with design software including Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Canva and CapCut 
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager, email marketing platforms such as Emma, and social media management tools such as Sprout Social 
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Squarespace or similar content management system 
  • Knowledge of Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Sheets 
  • Hands-on experience using generative AI tools for content creation, image/video, editing or copywriting, with an interest in continually testing new technology 
  • Proficient in marketing and advertising terms and processes 
  • Proficient in web content and graphic optimization 
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and remain organized under tight deadlines 
  • Be a solutions-oriented thinker, working closely with various individuals and teams to provide positive ideas and recommendations to overcome sales and marketing challenges 
  • Comfortable traveling throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area to capture content at Billingsley properties and events 
  • Experience with Matterport, drone photography/video or other property-focused content technology is a plus.
