The Marcomm Program Manager is a critical operational role within the Corporate Marketing & Communications team, reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing & Communications. This role serves the entire marcomm function — spanning brand, B2B/corporate marketing/product/client marketing, and content — as its dedicated operational backbone. The Marcomm PM will establish and run a clear cross-functional operating rhythm, and prioritization cadence that brings consistency, visibility, and accountability to how the team plans and delivers work against its most important growth initiatives. By owning the systems and workflows that keep integrated marketing moving, this role directly enables senior marketers to stay focused on high-value strategy and the work that most influences pipeline, retention, and win rate.
Responsibilities
Own and operate the marcomm team's intake process — creating a single point of entry for all new project requests across corporate marketing, client marketing, brand, and content — ensuring each request is scoped, prioritized, and routed appropriately before work begins.
Plug into and reinforce the broader Growth team's existing operating rhythms and reporting structures — rather than standing up marcomm-specific systems in isolation — adapting shared cadences (e.g., weekly prioritization reviews, sprint-style planning, status syncs) to create consistent visibility into active work, dependencies, and capacity across marcomm teams.
Help to develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, and delivery schedules in Asana, keeping all workstreams current and surfacing blockers before they become delays.
Produce clear, concise status reporting for marketing leadership — replacing fragmented Slack threads and ad hoc follow-up with structured, repeatable updates that make progress and priorities legible at a glance.
Serve as the connective tissue across marcomm teams — facilitating coordination between Corporate Communications, Client Marketing, Creative, and Content — so that cross-functional dependencies are tracked and hand-offs are clean.
Proactively identify risks, resource conflicts, and scope creep; escalate to the VP or relevant senior marketers with recommended resolutions.
Support program-level prioritization decisions by maintaining a shared view of the team's portfolio, flagging capacity constraints, and helping leadership make informed trade-off calls.
Contribute to the development of lightweight, scalable standard operating procedures and workflow documentation that reduce reliance on tribal knowledge and informal communication channels.
Partner with senior marketers on campaign and initiative scoping to ensure timelines are realistic, resources are aligned, and deliverables are clearly defined before execution begins.
Drive adoption of Asana and shared project management practices across the marcomm team, providing guidance and accountability to ensure consistent use.
Spearhead and advance key technology transformation initiatives on behalf of the marcomm team — translating FY27 plan milestones into actionable, repeatable execution plans in close partnership with Growth and Tech counterparts, ensuring marcomm stays aligned and moving in lockstep with broader organizational transformation efforts.
Partner with marcomm leadership to foster a strong sense of team culture, engagement, and continuous learning — creating consistent, meaningful touchpoints for employees and sub-teams that reinforce connection, shared purpose, and professional growth across the function.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in program management, marketing operations, or a traffic/production coordination role, ideally within an in-house marketing team or agency environment.
Demonstrated experience building or improving intake and workflow systems in a fast-moving, matrixed organization.
Proficiency with Asana or a comparable project management platform; comfort configuring projects, templates, and dashboards to support team-wide visibility.
Strong organizational skills and a systems-oriented mindset — you find it genuinely satisfying to bring structure to ambiguous, high-velocity environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex workstreams into clear, executive-ready status updates.
Experience facilitating cross-functional coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders simultaneously.
Ability to manage competing priorities without losing sight of what matters most; comfortable asking clarifying questions and pushing back constructively when scope or timelines are unclear.
Comfort operating in an environment undergoing process and tooling transformation — you are a change enabler, not a change resistor.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting B2B or enterprise marketing teams, with exposure to demand generation, client marketing, or content marketing workflows.
Familiarity with healthcare, tech, or highly regulated industries.
PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
