The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.

As we celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2026 and begin a new three-year business cycle, our mission remains as strong as ever to help Hong Kong thrive in trade and businesses succeed in the ever-changing landscape.

We are seeking a dynamic, high-calibre and experienced Marketing professional to join our team.


Responsibilities:

  • Promote HKTDC trade and public exhibitions in physical, hybrid and digital formats to local and overseas visitors;
  • Achieve team KPIs through planning and executing effective multi-channel marketing campaigns established timelines;
  • Develop innovative and cost-effective marketing initiatives for the responsible fairs while ensuring the project budget will be spent effectively to maximize result and ROI;
  • Engage new channels and partners for promoting HKTDC Exhibitions, and keep close relationship with existing partners, with the objective to drive more quality publicity;
  • Prepare accurate, engaging and impactful promotional content, including advertorials, eDMs, website content and other marketing collateral;
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments to develop compelling marketing messages, strengthen brand identities and deliver effective promotion campaigns;
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and teamwork, to collaborate with various internal teams to formulate effective communication strategies and content;
  • Take up tasks assigned by supervisors.

 

Requirements:

  • A university degree in communication, marketing or relevant discipline;
  • A minimum of five years' working experience in advertising, media or marketing field, preferably within the lifestyle industry;
  • Prior experience working in a sizable corporation or a highly matrixed environment is a plus;
  • Proficient in design software (such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator) and AI tools;
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua;
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office;
  • A team player, meticulous and able to meet multiple deadlines.

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.

Skills Required
