Position: Marketing Communications & Content Specialist (Poland)

Location: Milton Keynes with hybrid working opportunities

Job type: Full time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday)

Reporting to: UK+ Content & Communication Manager

About the role:

Working within the UK+ marketing team, the Marketing & Communications and Content Specialist (Poland) is responsible for delivering global brand content and creating localised communications for the Polish market. This includes adapting, translating, and proofreading global and EU content, while also producing original material that showcases our brands, stories, and products to B2B, B2C, and internal audiences. 

The role supports the communication strategy in Poland to build awareness of the Trek, Diamant, and Bontrager brands, grow and engage audiences, and drive website traffic and revenue. It involves managing and analysing paid campaigns on Meta and Google, executing email communications to retailers and consumers, supporting internal marketing, and creating content for social media, blogs, and other marketing or PR needs. Coordinating local photo and video shoots is also part of the role. 

Reporting to the UK+ Communications Manager and working closely with the Poland PR & Media Specialist, UK+ retail and digital teams, and the EU and global marketing functions, this role requires strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills. The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, analytical and confident managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

Position responsibilities:

  • Act as the local language specialist for all marketing activities, ensuring that all content and communications are created to support global and local strategies and achieve goals & maximum engagement. Own the content calendar for Poland 

  • Generate original & engaging local content in-language to be used in B2B, B2C & media communications and channels based on current trends, marketing strategy and what target audiences are looking for 

  • Work closely with the PR & media specialist and UK+ retail marketing and digital functions to identify opportunities & concept great content that builds brand awareness & loyalty, quality comms audience growth, high audience engagement and drives website traffic and revenue 

  • Ensure brand voice, content & brand standards are always met – always rolling 5’s

  • Collaborate with communications counterparts to ensure usability & synergy between UK+ markets on local content, communication calendars, sharing best practices with EU & global 

  • Work with the UK+ Communications & Content Manager, PR counterpart & EU design team to concept and plan any local asset production (photography, video & graphics), coordinating the rights & contracts, supplier management, production and sign off these assets/content 

  • Create and execute B2C & B2B emails, optimizing the conversion paths through A/B Testing, automation, segmentation, personalisation, measuring CTA performance and improving conversion rate consistently 

  • Create and publish local & global blogs 

  • Implement and analyse digital marketing strategies including paid search, SEO and social media for Polish market 

  • Create and execute both EU & local B2B articles and content on trekbikes.com/b2b to schedule 

  • Share content & updates across internal platforms and groups, including Teams channels, email & SharePoint news feeds 

  • Proof reading for the centrally generated content, manage proofing workflow to deadlines & budgets and provide translation of local content for market 

 

About you: 

  • 4+ years’ experience in marketing communications role essential. Media or retail-related experience advantageous 

  • Fluent Polish and English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Experience in delivering marketing communications using email production/distributions systems  

  • Highly organized, excellent time management and pro-active goal accountability 

  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences  

  • High level of own commercial judgement and initiative 

  • Analytical, creative and out of the box thinking 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Ads, and Meta advertising platforms  

  • Ability to build sound relationships both internally and externally with great customer service skills  

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on projects  

  • Strong copywriting skills essential  

  • Experience in wider digital marketing and understanding of marketing data/insights advantageous 

  • Ability to confidently report to senior managers & stakeholders  

  • Good knowledge of Trek products and the cycling industry or willingness to learn 

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
