- Assists in the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing and communication plans that align with the department or area of UT Health San Antonio's marketing strategy.
- Collaborates with the leadership and team to develop and implement relevant content for department or Institution's strategic marketing, brand planning and enterprise communications. Collaborates with leadership to strategically plan, create and determine the effectiveness of marketing programs and multidimensional campaigns with targeted content to drive increased brand awareness and growth.
- Partners with team members across departments to analyze/determine business needs, understand audiences, set goals, determine promotional tactics, and oversee the execution and measurement of tactics/campaigns.
- Assists with the analysis of market data, including campaign results, online traffic and various other marketing programs to determine effectiveness, including ROI, to improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Initiates ideas and recommendations for marketing campaigns, messaging, promotions and programs that align with the cancer center's marketing strategies.
- Works with external agencies, vendors and other stakeholders to build and execute strategic marketing and communications activities, including content development strategies and execution for both external and internal audiences.
- Leads strategic event planning, execution and budgeting to ensure alignment with marketing goals; provide post-event results reporting and analysis.
- Researches and writes strategic internal and external content for collateral material, patient education, articles, blogs, websites, electronic newsletters, email campaigns, direct mail, posters, and other supporting material.
- Works with the Marketing and Communications Manager and team to plan, develop and execute editorial social calendars and monitoring of social media channels.
- Provides oversight and editorial review of content provided by key stakeholders for internal and external communications.
- Establishes and monitor project timelines to meet deadlines for promotional efforts/campaigns and assist with the delivery of collateral materials to support promotions and marketing functions.
- Serves as a consult to entry level staff and intradepartmental colleagues.

- Superior communication skills both written and verbal to effectively address all levels within the organization. Healthcare writing experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Advanced
