The Role
About the Role

This role will also play a key role in coordinating the collection and organization of team, department, and company health metrics, providing the unique opportunity to track the key priorities of the company.

WatchGuard Technologies is seeking a Demand Gen Campaign Specialist who is the operational core of the demand generation engine and reports directly to the Demand Generation Program Manager. While strategy defines what to launch, this role ensures budgets are maintained and optimized, campaigns are built correctly, launched on time, tracked accurately, and continuously improved.

This role bridges Content, Creative, Product Marketing (PMMs), Marketing Operations (MOPs), Audience Managers, and Sales, coordinating assets, channels, timelines, and performance insights to ensure every campaign delivers measurable pipeline impact.

By increasing speed-to-market, reducing rework, strengthening data accuracy, and enforcing operational rigor, the Campaign Specialist plays a critical role in scaling repeatable, high-performing demand generation programs.

A Day in the Life

In this role, your day-to-day work blends execution, coordination, and optimization to keep demand generation programs running smoothly and efficiently.

You may start your day reviewing live campaign performance, checking 6sense, paid social, and display dashboards to ensure ads are serving correctly, budgets are pacing as planned, and no tracking or delivery issues have surfaced overnight.

From there, you’ll move into active campaign builds and launches: creating or updating 6sense segments, validating audience logic, coordinating with Creative and Content on final assets, and managing Wrike/Jira tasks to keep timelines on track.

Throughout the day, you’ll partner closely with Audience Managers, PMMs, MOPs, and Sales—aligning on targeting, high-intent priorities, follow-up triggers, and upcoming launches. You’ll flag risks early, troubleshoot issues, and ensure every campaign meets operational and data-quality standards.

You’ll also spend time validating tracking (UTMs, attribution, routing), monitoring spend and pacing, and documenting campaign learnings or A/B test results to inform future iterations. No two days look exactly the same, but each one directly contributes to faster launches, stronger performance, and more reliable pipeline impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end campaign execution across email, landing pages, 6sense ads, paid social, display, click-through demos, webinars, and content syndication.
  • Build and manage Wrike/Jira tasks, timelines, dependencies, and launch readiness to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Create, optimize, and maintain 6sense segments, priority scoring, audience groupings, and retargeting strategies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Demand Gen Managers, Audience Managers, PMMs, Creative, Content, MOPs, and Sales to align targeting, assets, and follow-up motions.
  • Conduct full campaign QA including UTMs, attribution logic, lead routing, pixel firing, and tracking accuracy.
  • Monitor live campaign performance, creative delivery, budget pacing, and channel health; proactively troubleshoot issues and anomalies.
  • Execute structured testing frameworks across creative, bidding strategies, and audience approaches to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Manage vendor execution and performance with partners such as CRN, TechTarget, G2, PeerSpot, and TrustRadius.
  • Track and report campaign KPIs including CTR, aCTR, aVTR, engagement lift, spend pacing, and MoM performance trends.
  • Document campaign learnings, optimization insights, and process improvements to support scalable, repeatable demand generation.
  • Provide insights to inform creative refreshes, audience refinement, and channel-level optimization decisions.
  • Document campaign learnings, performance insights, and process improvements to support scalable, repeatable demand generation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in demand generation, digital marketing, or campaign execution.
  • Experience working with platforms such as 6sense, Marketo, Salesforce, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and ad networks.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort interpreting performance metrics and translating insights into action.
  • Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive communicator.
  • Takes initiative and drives work forward independently.

Compensation
The base salary range is $75,000-$85,000 per year for full-time employment, exclusive of benefits. This position is also eligible for a bonus of 5% of the base salary. Your base salary will be determined by your individual skills, education, and experience. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical in order to allow for future salary growth.
