This Position reports to:
Marketing Communications ManagerIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead market expansion initiatives, product positioning, and strategic partnerships. Drives profitable growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction through aligned marketing campaigns and business development activities. Works closely with division heads, sales teams, and regional clusters to maximize market opportunities and achieve business objectives.

This role is contributing to the Motion business based in Bangalore, India:
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Develops and implements comprehensive marketing and business development strategies for the MO India business, aligned with divisional objectives.
- Identifies and evaluates new market opportunities, customer segments, and channels through competitive market analysis and business intelligence.
- Develops and executes strategic marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, direct, events, partnerships) to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Conducts market intelligence and competitive analysis together with Divisions to anticipate market trends and facilitate proactive business responses.
- Collaborates with sales teams to develop customer value propositions. Identifies partnerships, channel strategies, and business development opportunities to expand market reach.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, customers, industry bodies, and consultants.
- Develops metrics and analytics frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness and customer engagement.
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to execute integrated business initiatives. Takes lead in industry events and exhibitions to coordinate with key stakeholders. Supports Front end sales in customer events
- Proposes inorganic business opportunities (M&A / partnership) based on Division mandate
Qualifications for the role
- Full time Bachelor's degree in Engineering. MBA in Marketing is preferred.
- 6-10 years of progressive experience in marketing and business development.
- Demonstrated expertise in marketing strategy development and execution.
- Proven track record of successful product/market launches and business growth initiatives.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms. Technical background in drives, motors, or power distribution equipment.
- Experience working with diverse customer segments (OEMs, EPCs, consultants, end-users).
