About The Job:
The Red Hat APAC Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Automation & Operations Lead to join us in India. In this role, you will empower APAC marketers to drive measurable business impact by engaging customers and prospects wherever they are in their journey. You will be involved in operationalizing the go to market for APAC marketers programs with tech tools and platforms.
The role is responsible for aligning & implementing the global marketing planning and performance priorities in conjunction with global core platforms, martech team and local market requirements in APAC.
You will be involved in agency rationalization and maintaining the martech ecosystem in APAC.
You will use clearly defined KPIs to track and report success. This position is an operations lead position within the APAC marketing team and requires collaboration with executives and sales management as well as the ability to operate in a regional, field and globally matrixed environment.
The candidate has to be technical, process-oriented to manage the "plumbing" of our regional demand engine. In this role, you won't be managing ad spend; instead, you will be the master of dataflow and systems integration. You will ensure that data moves seamlessly from our event platforms and lead-gen tools into our core systems, enabling the APAC marketing team to execute high-impact, measurable campaigns.
What You Will Do:
System Orchestration: Act as the regional administrator and power user for our core tech stack, including Marketo, Integrate, Salesforce, ON24, and RainFocus.
Data Flow Management: Design and maintain the end-to-end data journey—ensuring leads from webinars (ON24), large-scale events (RainFocus), and third-party sources (Integrate) sync correctly to Marketo and Salesforce.
MarTech Optimization: Evaluate how regional teams use our tools and provide technical enablement/training to ensure we are maximizing our investment in the stack.
Troubleshooting & QA: Serve as the primary point of escalation for sync errors, data discrepancies, or workflow "breaks" within the APAC marketing funnel. Closely monitoring the day-to-day operations and identifying the potential gap in the process, and trying to resolve the same
Stakeholder management: Liaison with Global and represent APAC (identify gaps, fixes, customizations on MarTech Tools and processes)
Lead agency rationalization and vendor onboarding in the region on Martech tools, platforms
Provide enablement & document tools/platforms on martech process updates to the APAC marketing teams
What You Will Bring:
The Systems Architect: You enjoy mapping out complex workflows and understand how a change in one tool (like RainFocus) impacts the downstream data in Salesforce.
Data-Obsessed: You have a "clean data" mindset and are proactive about identifying gaps in segmentation or lead attribution.
Technical Translator: You can take a marketing campaign idea and turn it into a functional technical requirement.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; graduate degree is a plus
7+ years in Marketing Operations with a heavy focus on the Marketo + Salesforce ecosystem, knowledge of ad tech and martech.
Tool Expertise: Proven experience managing data flows through Integrate, ON24, and/or RainFocus (or similar enterprise event/lead-gen platforms).
Process Mastery: Strong understanding of B2B lead lifecycles, including MQL/SQL handoffs and multi-touch data capture.
APAC Expertise: Familiarity with regional data compliance standards and the ability to work effectively across multiple time zones.
Analytical ability to understand data, create reports, and derive strategic insights
Ability to work independently and in a team environment while handling multiple tasks with shifting priorities
Ability to project manage large workloads and meet deadlines
Strategic and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret research and data
Creative problem solver and resourceful in escalation situations with a proactive approach
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
