GEICO’s Marketing team is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative Marketing Associate to join the Personal Lines Brand Management Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to support cross-functional marketing efforts that fuel business growth and drive brand consistency across all customer touchpoints. As part of the broader Brand Marketing team, you’ll serve as a key connector between cross-functional partners and agency collaborators, ensuring campaigns are insight-driven, aligned with brand strategy, and flawlessly executed.

This role reports into the Manager, Brand Management – Auto. 

Responsibilities

  • Pod Planning & Coordination: Manage the Pod marketing calendar, ensuring visibility, alignment, and timely execution across Marketing, IAT, and Business Partners.
  • Workstream Management: Coordinate day-to-day execution of influencer marketing, creative reviews, and Growth & Journey Marketing (G&JM) approvals. Collaborate closely with product managers and act as the primary liaison with Legal for compliance and approval workflows.
  • Creative Asset Management: Maintain an organized and accessible repository of approved creative assets and key reference documents.
  • Internal Engagement: Lead the development and management of internal Slack communities, fostering associate engagement and facilitating product research.
  • Presentation Development: Support the creation of clear, visually compelling presentations for internal stakeholders, agency partners, and senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Research, Analytics, Creative, Media, Product Management, and IAT teams to support integrated marketing efforts aligned with business goals.
  • Operational Support: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Pod by supporting planning, documentation, and process alignment across stakeholders.
  • Creative Review: Maintain creative standards and approval checkpoints, ensuring brand consistency, compliance with product and legal guidelines, and message alignment for all campaigns.
  • Business Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries and collaboration with State Managers, coordinating efforts with IAT teams to provide accurate information and fulfill requests.
  • Knowledge Resource: Stay up to date on GEICO’s business performance, competitor results, and industry trends. Aggregate results and key insights to share with the department on a regular basis. Answer business related questions from marketing teams and agency partners.

Deliverables

  • A shared, up-to-date marketing calendar that reflects product priorities and integrated planning timelines.
  • Weekly cross-functional presentations developed in partnership with COEs to keep business partners informed and aligned.
  • Established intake and approval processes between Product Management and creative, influencer, and G&JM workflows with documented ways of working.
  • Slack-based associate communities with engagement developed in coordination with Events, Creative, Research, and Product teams.
  • A centralized, searchable creative asset library and document archive, maintained by LOB and updated regularly.
  • Regular identification of insight-driven content themes and tentpole opportunities for Creator and G&JM channels.
  • A business strategy update with results and trends shared with the department monthly.

Experience & Core Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in-house, with exposure to brand strategy, creative development, and media initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, engaging presentations.
  • Experience reviewing creative concepts for strategic alignment and brand consistency.
  • Solid understanding of brand fundamentals, customer journey mapping, and performance marketing levers.
  • Comfortable navigating a matrixed organization and collaborating across cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • Self-starter with a passion for brand building, an eye for detail, and a drive to contribute to team success.


 

Annual Salary

$69,700.00 - $115,825.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
