A Day in the LifeThe Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) Operating Unit is dedicated to the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous diseases. We offer our physician customers a comprehensive suite of products and therapies to treat varying degrees of vascular disease — disorders of the circulatory system outside of the brain and heart. As Marketing and Sales Operations Specialist for the Peripheral Vascular Health Operating Unit in Denmark, you will be responsible for driving marketing activities to accelerate the adoption of our peripheral, embolization and venous portfolios, support market development, gain market share, and achieve Medtronic’s ambitious growth targets. This role will cover the Nordic region (Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway) and is a remote/hybrid role.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Manages the marketing plan development and execution for the Nordic region, including the development of the marketing strategies, customer segmentation and targeting, the implementation of campaigns and tactics.
- Consistently and effectively communicates appropriate product, market, clinical, and competitive information to the local sales organization.
- Coordinates the participation to local conferences and events, including booth, contracts, and speakers.
- Leads new product launches, including internal readiness and launch tracking.
- Establishes strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and leverages KOLs to promote products.
- Manages local supply and demand activities, including the prioritization of product allocations.
- Ensures marketing expenses stay within the approved budget (Annual Operating Plan).
Requested Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering or equivalent
- Min 2 years of experience in marketing in the medical device industry in a national and/or international role
- Advanced IT skills in MS Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of Business Intelligence & CRM software (Tableau, PowerBI, Salesforce)
- Fluent in Danish and English
Master’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering would be an advantage as would expertise in cardiovascular products / therapies.
