Our client in the Energy and Environmental sector is seeking to recruit a Marketing & Sales Manager to lead and drive the company’s marketing, sales, brand management, and customer engagement strategies. The role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing communications, driving revenue growth across all product and service lines, strengthening client relationships, and increasing market share. The successful candidate will oversee sales and marketing operations, manage brand positioning, coordinate stakeholder engagement, and ensure the effective delivery of strategic marketing and sales initiatives that align with the company’s business objective.


Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Management
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and brand strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.
  • Lead marketing communications, branding, advertising campaigns, events, sponsorships, and promotional activities.
  • Oversee brand management initiatives to strengthen brand visibility, reputation, and market positioning.
  • Develop, optimize, and monitor annual marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
  • Drive innovation in branding and marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement and market presence.
Sales & Business Development
  • Develop sales strategies and drive the achievement of sales and revenue targets across all product and service lines.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients.
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives to increase revenue and market share.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, customer feedback, and revenue performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support strategic business growth.
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including Finance, Operations, Projects, and Product teams to support business objectives.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery standards.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and service providers to execute marketing and sales initiatives effectively.
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear KPIs and performance metrics for the team and monitor progress against targets.
  • Foster collaboration, innovation, accountability, and professionalism within the team.
  • Support staff development through coaching, guidance, and performance management initiatives.
Reporting & Operational Excellence
  • Prepare and present sales and marketing reports, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to management.
  • Ensure effective project management practices are applied in all marketing and sales activities.
  • Support the implementation of business process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. 


RequirementsQualifications & Experience
Education
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a related field, preferably within FMCG, energy, environmental, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in brand management, client relationship management, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management, and business process management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a high sense of ownership.


Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related field
